The actress, 36, said the comparisons between her and Meghan began when the royal first appeared on Suits.
'It started when Suits began - I had some girlfriends who lived in New York who would call me and say 'whenever we miss you we watch an episode of Suits',' Tiffany said.
'Once Meghan and Harry started dating I would get it a lot more.
'Of all the people to get compared to I think she's such an incredible woman and I will take that compliment.'
Tiffany's on-screen love interest, Charlie Field, plays Prince Harry in the film.

Sonia observed that Tiffany even sounds like Meghan.
'I went to school for broadcast journalism and she went to school for public relations (communications degree) so I think there's a similarity in that... I grew up in California and so did she so maybe there's a bit of tone there that's similar,' Tiffany said.
Tiffany said she spent time observing and perfecting Meghan's mannerisms for the film.

The 36-year-old told the Daily Telegraph on Wednesday she focused on the Duchess of Sussex's subtle physical quirks.
'She does this baby hair tuck a lot, where she doesn't actually tuck it behind her ear,' she said.
'And she also looks up at people through her lashes, in a way that's very like Diana.'
The movie, which will air this month, is a sequel to Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance, which was broadcast a day before the royal wedding last year.
