She teamed the items of clothing with a red striped shirt, which she left unbuttoned, for a relaxed look.

Rebel finished her ensemble with white pointed shoes and black oversized sunglasses.

The actress styled her blonde locks into a low ponytail, which she tucked underneath her white baseball cap.

Adding a slick of minimal make-up, Rebel appeared in good spirits as she beamed to photographers and fans in the airport.

Talented Rebel is as much an academic as she is a Hollywood star and earlier this month she took to Instagram to celebrate 10 years since graduating from the University of NSW in Sydney with both a law and art degree.

The 39-year-old reflected on her university days after being awarded the Chancellor's Award for Exceptional Alumni Achievement.

'Education really is the key to unlocking opportunities,' Rebel wrote on Instagram, while sharing news of the achievement with fans.

She received the honour along with 12 other former students, including leading surgeon Associate Professor Kelvin Kong, and Paralympian Prue Watt OAM.

In the throwback photos from her graduation ceremony in 2009, Rebel proudly wore a cap and gown while posing at the university's campus.

In the caption, Rebel listed her many successes since then, including moving to Hollywood, starring in over 14 movies and having her own U.S. television show.

Away from her on-screen triumphs, Rebel also mentioned she has a clothing range, several businesses and has 'done deals all over the world'.

'Back when I started college, I couldn't even afford all of my law textbooks and would have to read from the library copies. I'm so proud to have come this far,' she wrote.

Rebel concluded: 'So study hard, kids!'
