Bond girl Léa Seydoux looks effortlessly chic in a powder blue blazer and black leather skirt at the Oh Mercy! photocall at Cannes

It was recently announced that she will continue to serve as a Bond Girl in the next instalment.

Yet Léa Seydoux took a moment to celebrate her newest venture, Oh Mercy!, as she attended the photocall with her co-stars during Cannes Film Festival on Thursday. 

The French actress, 33, looked effortlessly chic for the event as she wore a crispy white shirt and a powder blue blazer.

Léa teamed the items of clothing with a racy leather mini skirt, which had a matching belt with an oversized silver buckle. 

The star decided to ditch all accessories and instead added height to her frame with a pair of black heels.

Léa styled her cropped blonde locks into a textured hairdo, she added a slick of glamorous make-up, which included a bold red lipstick.

Oh Mercy! (Roubaix, une lumière directed by Arnaud Desplechin) follows the story of local police chief Daoud (Roschdy Zem) and his recruit Louis (Antoine Reinartz), who attempt to unravel the violent murder case of an elderly woman.

The neighbours of the victim, Claude (Léa) and Marie (Sara Forestier) are arrested in suspicion of the murder.

The movie will compete for the coveted Palm d'Or prize at Cannes, as one of seven French films that has premiered in competition for the Festival.

Meanwhile, at the end of last month, Léa was announced to be returning to her role of Dr Madeleine Swann in Bond 25 - set for release next year.

The film will be Craig's final appearance as Bond, having previously starred in Casino Royale (2006), Quantum of Solace (2008), Skyfall (2012) and Spectre (2015).
