The National Weather Service confirmed that a large and destructive twister moved over the city of around 42,000 shortly before midnight on Wednesday. The tornado cut a path about 3 miles long and a mile wide from the south end of Jefferson City north toward the Missouri River, said police Lt. David Williams. Emergency workers reported about two dozen injuries, Williams said, and around 100 of people went to shelters. Hospitals reported treating injuries such as cuts and bruises.

In August 2017, Ryan Cameron, of Indianapolis, pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated battery and was jailed for six years.

John Hendricks and his wife, Maureen, have included the West Creek Ranch property in the sale along with the Gateway Canyons Resort & Spa. The sale also includes 6,919 deeded acres across four pieces of land that stretch from Mesa County into Grand County, Utah. Hendricks first began building on the resort in 2004 after he saw an ad in the newspaper for the ranch. The ranch was constructed from 1999 to 2001.

Dave MacLeod, 40, snapped the pictures of his friend, Keita Kurakami, last week when they visited the Isle of Harris, Scotland, and climbed Creag Mo cliff. Mr MacLeod said that his friend was scaling the cliff as his warm up ahead of the day's climbing. Mr MacLeod who has spent the past 25 years rock climbing, said that there are still cliffs which haven't been scaled. He said: 'There are unclimbed walls all over the Scottish mountains, where no-one has ever been.'

The National Enquirer Live! is set to open its doors at noon on Friday and will feature the August 31, 1997, car crash that took Princess Diana's life. According to amusements impresario Robin Turner, the Princess Diana attraction is a '3-D computer model, and you're looking down on what looks just like Paris, but it's three-dimensional'. Turner said the attraction shows 'the pathway as she left the Ritz hotel, and the paparazzi chasing her, and the bang-flash that we think blinded the driver - and how it happened'. Turner claims the attraction has been put together in a tasteful way with only computer animation at work. 'It's done in a positive fashion,' Turner added.

A man was filmed lighting up a cigarette while aboard a morning Spirit Airlines flight headed to Minnesota on May 21. The man appeared to be in a daze as he took a puff and closed his eyes. A concerned passenger flagged down a flight attendant who ashed the cigarette on a seat tray and said: 'You cannot smoke on airplanes. It's against the law'. The man jumped and appeared startled when attendant put out the cigarette. Upon landing, airport police escorted him off the flight.

A girl was seriously burned when her clothing fabric discharged static electricity which caused a fuel tank to explode at a gas station this week in central Mexico. A CCTV camera at the fuel station in Pinal de Amoles, Querétaro, shows the moment the seven-year-old girl's father is refueling a container that he had placed on the flatbed of his pickup truck. The man appears in the surveillance video holding the gas hose over the large-sized drum while his daughter innocently places her hand over the cover of the canister.

The rampage happened in the staff canteen of the Ningbo Wote Automobile Parts Company, in Ninghai County, Zhejiang Province, China. The video shows the canteen full of uniformed factory workers eating their lunch when one man starts running away and is quickly followed by numerous others as the boar storms through the room. The animal stops to eat food on the floor as other workers climb onto the tables to keep out of its way. Later footage shows the animal after it has been caught by farmers, though one of them had to be treated when they were bitten.

The accident took place in the Zemun Polje neighbourhood of the Serbian capital city Belgrade and was captured by a CCTV camera. In the clip, the car suddenly emerges from the darkness at very high speed and flips as the driver loses control. The overturned car's momentum causes it to smash through a tall plant and flatten a bin, before it comes to a halt underneath what appears to be a shop awning. The wheel of the car is still spinning and, even though the car is lying on its left side, a young man quickly emerges from the right side window. Four other young men follow him from the same window, while one comes from the front side window and another from the smashed rear windscreen.

Japalaghy started free-running when his father - an ex policeman - went missing during his retirement and never came home. He said: 'What better way for me to get rid of all my emotions than by channelling them through my career, doing all of this parkour?'
