Newly released footage captures the harrowing moments after unarmed Australian woman Justine Ruszczyk Damond (right) was shot dead by a cop in Minneapolis. In the alarming clip Mohamed Noor, the officer who shot Ms Damond as she approached the police car, appears sweat-soaked and visibly anguished while a fellow officer is heard telling him to 'keep his mouth shut'. The bodycam footage, which was tendered to the court and released on Thursday, sees Noor pace in distress while another cop offers him some advice. A jury found Noor was guilty of third degree murder and second-degree manslaughter after a three-week trial in Minneapolis last month. The officer is appealing the charge, with his lawyers claiming Noor did not act with a 'depraved heart' and was instead trying to 'defend his partner and himself'. Ms Damond, 40, formerly of Sydney's northern beaches, was home alone in Minneapolis just before midnight on July 15, 2017, when she heard a woman's screams. She called 911 and when Noor's police squad car arrived in the alley at the rear of her home she approached the vehicle.

British PM Theresa May breaks down in tears as she announces she will stand down on June 7th and pleads for politicians to find Brexit compromise that eluded her

Prime Minister Theresa May announced her departure in an emotional statement on the steps of Downing Street after meeting Tory backbench chief Sir Graham Brady and giving the news to her staff behind closed doors. She declared she will resign as Conservative leader on June 10, triggering a contest that should be complete by the end of July - admitting it was time for someone else to try and deliver Brexit. The dramatic move comes after Mrs May's last-ditch effort to get her EU deal through the Commons backfired spectacularly. Tories were up in arms and the Cabinet mounted an open revolt after she offered MPs a vote on holding a second referendum and joining a temporary customs union with the EU. The PM humiliatingly pulled her Withdrawal Agreement Bill - known as WAB - yesterday after seemingly accepting the inevitable.

Theme park in Tennessee turns Princess Diana's death into a tasteless attraction

The National Enquirer Live! in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, has turned Princess Diana's last moments before her death into a tasteless attraction. The National Enquirer Live! is set to open its doors at noon on Friday and will feature the August 31, 1997, car crash that took Princess Diana's life. According to amusements impresario Robin Turner, the Princess Diana attraction is a '3-D computer model, and you're looking down on what looks just like Paris, but it's three-dimensional'. Turner claims the attraction has been put together in a tasteful way with only computer animation at work. 'It's done in a positive fashion,' Turner added.
