Seen for the first time since his controversial release from prison and living just a block away from a school, this is the 'disgusting predator' accused of holding an anorexic teen captive as his sex slave for more than a year.

Traumatized Hailey Burns told authorities she was locked in a dog cage, starved for days at a time and forced to have sex with 33-year-old Michael Wysolovski in return for food.

But the pervert walked free on a plea deal last month because district attorneys in Gwinnett County, Georgia, were reluctant to rely on the testimony of a 16-year-old girl with Asperger's Syndrome to convict him at trial.

Wysolovski was indicted in 2017 on a catalog of sex offenses punishable by 25 years to life in prison but charges of rape, aggravated sodomy and false imprisonment were dropped.

The warped software developer - who began messaging Hailey online when she was 15 - agreed instead to plead guilty to the lesser counts of first degree cruelty to children and interstate interference with custody.

A judge sentenced him on Thursday April 25 to eight months in prison and 10 years' probation - but because of time already served in the Gwinnett County Detention Center Wysolovski had already completed his sentence.

DailyMailTV can reveal the pasty loner - now a registered sex offender - is living at his mother's house in a rural Atlanta suburb, just 330 yards from a high school and almost as close to an elementary school.

Probation officers agreed that Wysolovski can remain there despite banning him from communicating with minors, possessing images of minors or dating anyone with children under the age of 18.

Speaking exclusively to DailyMailTV, Hailey's mom Shaunna Burns, 40, said she was stunned when prosecutors first suggested giving her daughter's abuser what she describes as a 'sweetheart deal'.

But she and her financial adviser husband Anthony, 46, reluctantly gave the agreement their backing because it stipulated that Wysolovski would have to register as a sex offender.

'For all of us, the number one thing is that he has to be on the registry so he cannot re-offend and victimize other vulnerable young women,' mom-of-three Shaunna explained.

'Even if it means less jail time we could not risk him being found not guilty and walking away from court with nobody monitoring his behavior. He would be free to claim victim after victim.'

It can also be revealed today that the Gwinnett County District Attorney's Office signed off on the plea deal despite a string of former partners offering to tell the court about Wysolovski's dark fantasies and lust for violent, abusive sex.

One former girlfriend told prosecutors that Wysolovski had indicated he wanted to 'stuff' teenage girls into the trunk of his car and take them back to his basement.

He told the same woman he would 'like to go to a country like Thailand and take someone who would not be missed,' according to court transcripts from a February 2018 bond hearing.

Several of the females spoken to by prosecutors alleged they saw Wysolovski looking at child pornography though police never found any evidence of it on his machines.

All the women agreed that Wysolovski had deliberately sought out vulnerable or emotionally damaged women, anorexia sufferers or victims of previous abuse, because they were more easily manipulated.

They said he would typically start out by persuading them to engage in consensual BDSM sex only to ignore safe words and violently beat or rape them.

'It was a clear pattern of escalation with each victim. He took things further and further towards his disgusting end goal,' one of the women told DailyMailTV.

She said she met Wysolovski on MyProAna, an online forum for people with anorexia and the same website where Wysolovski would later meet Hailey.

The ex-partner said she was beaten, slapped and raped on a daily basis but brainwashed to think this was acceptable throughout their brief relationship.

None of the women reported the allegations to police at the time.

'I feel that he's highly dangerous, she added. 'If given the chance, he would kidnap a pre-teen and do terrible horrific things to her until there was nothing left of her - and then probably kill her.'

While DailyMailTV has chosen not to name Wysolovski's previous partners because they are alleged victims of sexual abuse we sought and obtained permission from Hailey's parents to identify her.

She was 15 when she began talking with Wysolovski online, telling him she was unhappy at her Charlotte, North Carolina home and wanted to run away.

Three weeks after her 16th birthday Hailey hiked three miles to the side of an interstate without her phone, wallet and medication to meet Wysolovski.

He drove the teenager back to Georgia, initially taking her to his shared house and telling housemates she was his girlfriend, Alaska, before moving her into his own property in Duluth, just outside Atlanta.

Hailey's disappearance had meanwhile triggered a missing persons hunt, plunging her parents and nine-year-old twin sisters into a nightmare as they pleaded for news of her whereabouts in media appeals.

She had been gone for 13 months when a woman in Romania contacted them in June 2017 with an extraordinary tip off about Hailey's plight.

The woman said Hailey had reached out to her for help on MyProAna saying that she was being held captive.

When FBI special agents arrived at the Duluth property the next day Hailey showed them a fake driving license and said she was Wysolovski's ex-wife.

She soon broke down, however, and admitted she had been coached to lie by Wysolovski who convinced her running away from home was a crime.

In subsequent interviews, Hailey told investigators she had been forced to survive on as little as 200 calories a day as Wysolovski controlled and logged every detail of her diet.

According to court documents, she said could earn treats like markers, stickers or gel pens if she performed sexual favors.

Agents also found a series of floor to ceiling pet cages inside the property that had been fitted across doorways to lock Hailey inside a bedroom.

A contractor called Aaron Brown would late tell them that Wysolovski called him to the house and asked him to fit hurricane proof windows in the basement.

When Brown said they weren't needed, Wysolovski said he had lots of noisy sex and didn't want neighbors to call the police.

Hailey faced her tormentor at last Thursday's sentencing, where she told Gwinnett County Superior Court how he abused and bullied her.

'The second I left my home, my life was ruined,' the teenager said, according to Atlanta's WSB-TV.

'He lowered my self-esteem greatly and left me to believe I would never be loved or have a proper life if I gained weight.

'I severely mutilated myself hoping I would become unlovable so no one would hurt me like he did. I am deformed.'

Anthony read out his own harrowing victim impact statement, recalling how his daughter arrived home malnourished and infected with ringworm, and has since been diagnosed with PTSD.

'Today Hailey struggles to function, doesn't go to school, can't work and has nightmares about the time with you,' his statement reads.

'You did this to satisfy your own sick sexual need to a 16-year-old kid. And I find your actions disturbing and evil.'

Judge Timothy Hamil took the unusual step of declining Wysolovski's routine request for first offender status which would have erased the plea from his criminal record upon completion of his sentence.

A list of probation conditions seen by DailyMailTV reveals the Oglethorpe University graduate has to submit to unannounced searches, drug tests or polygraphs.

If he breaches them Wysolovski can be hauled back into court and charged with a felony punishable by up to 30 years in prison.

He cannot date, marry or fraternize with anyone under 18 or anyone who has a child under 18 years of age.

Wysolovski has to abide by a curfew and remain at his mother's three-bed home unless he gets permission to move.

Despite its proximity to several schools, prosecutors feel he is less likely to re-offend if he's living with family.

Wysolovski left the house briefly on Thursday to visit a temping agency.

'If given the chance, he would kidnap a pre-teen and do terrible horrific things to her until there was nothing left of her,' Wysolovski's former girlfriend said

He refused to come to the door when he got home, instead relaying a message though his 57-year-old mom Susan that he did not want to discuss the case.

'I appreciate you're just trying to do your job. Go play someplace else,' she added, urging us to leave.

Prosecutors said that Wysolovski's attorney, Matt Crosby, had indicated he would reject any plea deal that involved further jail time.

Crosby maintained that his client was in a consensual relationship with Hailey and that she had the power to leave his home at any time.

He also said that Hailey had a history of making false allegations and had admitted to FBI agents that she was prone to exaggerating.

The teenager's family insist it is risible to claim that Hailey, who was diagnosed with autism and bipolar prior to meeting Wysolovski, could enter into a consenting BDSM relationship.

'My child has Asperger's. She is very intelligent but has what's called diminished capacity which makes it impossible for her to enter into a consenting relationship with an adult,' stay-at-home mom Shaunna told DailyMailTV.

'Personally I was upset that our district attorney didn't take the stance that it's legally impossible for her to enter in to a consenting relationship.

'My daughter was a child, he was a grown man. All it is going to take is one mom on that jury and he will go to jail.

'Of course you want to go to trial, of course you want justice for your child. But that was the approach the district attorney took and we have to accept that.

'Honestly, I believe he will end up behind bars anyway because I believe he will re-offend and when he does they will catch him.'

Gwinnett County Assistant District Attorney Michael DeTardo told DailyMailTV he considered Wysolovski to be a predator who posed an 'enormous risk' to vulnerable people, particularly via the internet.

But he said the chances of securing a guilty verdict at trial were hampered by questions over Hailey's credibility, given that she had made previous unfounded allegations about her home life.

He said jurors would also have struggled with the issue of consent which was integral to at least five of the six charges.

'She wanted to run away. She had done an extensive amount of research about where she could go and whether she could legally engage in a consensual sexual relationship,' he told DailyMailTV.

DeTardo said he couldn't charge Wysolovski with child molestation or a similar offence because the age of consent in Georgia is 16.

He said his best bet at trial was the interference with custody charge but while it carries a potential five-year prison sentence it carries no requirement to register as a sex offender.

Ultimately, he and the Burns family agreed that making Wysolovski subject to rigorous, lifelong monitoring was their priority even if it meant less jail.

'If I thought there was even a decent shot at putting this to trial, having him convicted on one of those more serious charges and getting him put in prison for 25 years to life, I would have done it, no questions asked,' DeTardo added.

'But I didn't want to march forward, put our victim through the stress of a trial, offer really nothing and wind up with a worse outcome, which I'm very certain would have happened.'
