'No bullet holes, no blood': Fans of slain rapper XXXTentacion believe he is still alive and dismiss his shooting as a 'publicity stunt' as bizarre conspiracy theory takes hold

Many XXXTentacion fans are under the impression that their idol is still alive.
Despite police confirming that the rapper was murdered outside a Florida bike store on Monday, fans point to an old video he posted to Instagram last year, in which he reassured his followers he was still alive.
It came after a stunt where the rapper made it seem as though he had hanged himself.

In the post, he said: 'Everybody got to chill the f*** out. No-one said I died. Relax.'
He added: 'I had to hurry up and f****** post so you didn't think I was dead, because I don't want any of my fans killing themselves. Calm the f*** down.
'It's for a music video. I'm not dead.'
Now social media users are resurrecting the video and claiming that he has faked his death once again.
One person wrote on Twitter that the star is 'not dead', adding: 'He is pulling off the worlds [sic] biggest publicity stunt ever done by mankind!'

Commenting on YouTube, another user wrote: 'I knew he wasn't dead cause the was no blood and no shots in the car glass.'
Another said: 'I am confused. Everyone says he died but there are no bullet marks, no blood.'
Police in Florida have confirmed the body of the rapper has been positively identified and that he is indeed dead.
