  • She styled her hair in a loose, no-fuss bun, appeared to be more or less makeup free, and sported no earrings or accessories
  • The mom-of-three was accompanied by her youngest son, Theodore, who was seen drinking from a plastic cup
  • Her husband, Jared Kushner, 38, was spotted leaving the house about 30 minutes before Ivanka and Theodore
  • While Ivanka appeared casual, Jared looked prim and proper as he donned a charcoal grey suit, which he paired with a blue shirt and a matching striped tie

Ivanka Trump opted for a stripped down, laid-back look as she departed her Washington D.C. home on Friday morning.

The 37-year-old first daughter was accompanied by three-year-old Theodore, her youngest of her three children with husband Jared Kushner, as she left home on Friday, May 24 at around 8am.

Ivanka wore a simple blue and white striped shirt, had her hair pulled back into a loose, no-fuss bun, and appeared more or less makeup free as she headed off with her son for the day.

The mother-of-three looked calm and happy as she sat beside Theodore, who was seen drinking from a plastic cup while perched in a baby car seat.

Her casual appearance suggests that she was not headed into work today, at the White House or otherwise, and may be on her way out of town for Memorial Day weekend.

However, her husband Jared may have some last-minute work to do before the celebrating begins, as we was seen leaving the house a half hour before them dressed in a suit.

While Ivanka kept her entire look casual, the 38-year-old looked formal, wearing a charcoal grey suit that he paired with a light blue shirt and a matching striped tie.

He appeared calm and stress-free as well, as he carried two bags in his hands and made his way out of the house at approximately 7:30am.

Earlier this week, Jared was joined by the couple's daughter Arabella and son Theodore as he left the house for work on Monday morning.

The seven-year-old girl stepped out in her pajamas — a white T-shirt with an emoji face across the front and light blue shorts — to jokingly tell the Secret Service agents he would not be attending work that day.

She was also seen trying to shoo photographers before her father left for work, and was then seen wagging her finger to jokingly reiterate the fact the Secret Service agents he would not be attending work.

While she may be off today, Ivanka did go to work this week, and attended a meeting with Senator Joni Ernst on Thursday, May 23, to discuss paid family leave.

The pair was accompanied by several others including Senators Deb Fischer, Susan Collins and Marsha Blackburn, as they discussed paid family leave legislation.

Sharing a photo of herself and the four women, Ivanka said: 'Productive meetings on the Hill to discuss Paid Family Leave legislation with Senators Ernst, Fischer, Collins and Blackburn.'

'Today we had a productive working session on Paid Family Leave with an action-oriented group of conservative female Senators. Momentum continues to build with bipartisan efforts advancing to pass Paid Family Leave legislation,' Ivanka said.

'This is something we must achieve to support America's hard-working families,' she added.

Images shared in Ivanka's Instagram stories showed her donning an emerald green mid-length gown that showed off her trim waistline for the occasion.

She teamed the dress with a pair of strappy black shoes and what looked like a matching black leather bag.

She styled her hair in a casual ponytail, wore a pair of simple gold hoop earrings and kept her makeup fresh and natural.
