Vitiligo is a skin condition in which the pigment cells of the skin are destroyed in certain areas of the body by the immune system.
During a recent appearance on the presenter's eponymous show, Winnie said: 'I really do hope that there are more [models with vitiligo] in the future…
'Basically my immune system thinks that my melanin is like a common cold so it fights it off.'
