In order to ensure that her complexion looked its absolute best in the bright lights of the red carpet cameras, he also added some other products from Philsophy's Purity range to the mix, including a mask, and a moisturizer.
'I started prepping Kim’s skin by first applying the Purity Made Simple Purity Pore Extractor Mask for 10 minutes,' he explained.
'This mask really helps to exfoliate the skin and clear any blemishes. Once the mask was dry and removed from the skin, I washed the face using the Purity Made Simple Purity 3-in-1 cleanser (I always keep an extra bottle in my kit because it doubles as a brush cleanser).
Standing the test of time: Mario has been using the Purity 3-in-1 cleanser since he was just 17 and working at Sephora
'To remove any excess product I used the Purity Made Simple Cleansing Cloths‚ÄĒThese are also perfect to help remove makeup. Next, I poured a generous amount of the Purity Made Simple Micellar Water on a cotton pad and gently swiped the skin to help clean, hydrate and tone.¬†
'Finally, I applied the Purity Made Simple Ultra-Light Moisturizer to hydrate and act as a primer for the foundation.'
After getting Kim's complexion ready, Mario then created a stunning bronzed make-up look using products from the reality star's own KKW Beauty range.
First, he perfected her complexion with the KKW Beauty Conceal, Bake and Brighten Kit in Shade 7, before adding some definition and shape to the face with the Creme Contour Sticks in Medium I and II.
In order to give the star her 'classic Kim K nude lip', Mario used the KKW Beauty Lip Liner in Nude 1 and Nude 2 and then the Crème Lipstick in Nude 2.
But while Kim clearly gets only the best treatment, it's not just celebrity faces that Mario uses the Philosophy Purity cleanser.
In fact, the New Yorker took to Instagram in March to share how he keeps his collection of brushes clean, revealing he washes them with the same Philosophy cleanser.
A fan of the brand since he was 17 and working at beauty mecca Sephora, he explained that he has been using it for all manner of beauty-related jobs ever since.

Speaking to the camera, Mario also detailed that he loves to use the cleanser in the shower to wash his face, and credits it as one of the best products for removing eye make-up.
'So I want to get philosophical with you guys about something,' he joked at the start of the video posted to his 4.3 million Instagram followers.

'When I get out of the shower after using this my face doesn't feel dry which is typically does with a lot of other cleansers,' he added.
'This really does a great job at removing all traces of eye make-up as well,' Mario told the camera before adding that it's 'super gentle on the skin and works on a lot of different skin types'.
He then concluded the short video by revealing how he also used the gentle formula to delicately but effectively cleanse his make-up brushes.
