Game Of Thrones fans claimed Conleth Hill looked 'p***ed' off with his character Lord Varys' death during reading in documentary The Last Watch which aired on Sunday on HBO.

In the HBO series, Daenerys Targaryen's dragon Drogo burnt The Spider (Hill) alive after the Mad Queen discovers he plans to poison her in an attempt to restore order in the Seven Kingdoms.

Social media was awash with fans drawing attention to 54-year-old Conleth's reaction to his character's dramatic end in the hotly-anticipated season eight.

'He's rocking back and forth and visibly p***ed,' one fan wrote, among the reaction to the documentary on social media.

Tense scenes showed an apparently disgruntled Conleth and Emilia Clarke reading through Varys' death sequence while sat among the rest of the cast.

Eagle-eyed followers pointed out the actor tossed his script aside after he fired off his character's last line.

Other fans wrote: 'He threw the script like get this shot out of my face.'

'DUDE WHO PLAYS VARYS IS P***ED LMFAOOO.' 

'Honestly... i just got upset all over again. Varys was the smartest mf on this show and this is how he went out smh. As a "traitor" disgusted.'

In May, Conleth claimed he took his character's fiery demise 'personally' as he shared his 'frustration' with the epic fantasy series.

He told Entertainment Weekly: 'I took it as a person. Not as an actor or an artist. You can't help feeling that you failed in some way. That you haven't lived up to some expectation that you didn't know about.  

'I suppose the last couple of seasons weren't my favourite. That's fine though. It's the nature of a multi-character show. It was kind of frustrating, but as a whole, it's been overwhelmingly positive.'
