Ariana Grande mocks her new Madame Tussauds waxwork after fans slammed the 'embarrassing' model

Ariana Grande fans were left baffled after Madame Tussauds unveiled her new wax work this week, labelling the model 'embarrassing' and 'disrespectful'.

And now it seems Ariana herself isn't impressed by the model, throwing shade at the design in a dry remark.

Commenting on a picture of the wax figure, the 25-year-old singer quipped: 'i just wanna talk [sic]'.

Ariana's waxwork has been slammed online by fans after the image was shared by Madame Tussauds on Tuesday.

They shared: 'You chose Classic Ari! Now we have her style nailed. You can see @ArianaGrande at Madame Tussauds London for 5 weeks from Friday #MTLxAri #ArianaGrande'.

Five weeks seemed to be too many for some Arianators, who quickly took to Twitter to put the wax museum on blast.

'[T]hank god its 5 weeks because that don’t look like her wtf,' wrote one angry fan.

Awkward: Ariana threw shade at the design in a dry comment, with the 25-year-old singer quipping 'i just wanna talk [sic]' underneath a snap of the waxwork

Others were left scratching their heads, penning: 'Y’all need to melt her face a start [over] because this ain’t it!!'

'Why y’all do her like that...smh disrespectful'; 'Yeah i think you got a lot of her feature wrong again it’s actually embarrassing next time please hit me up i’ll help'.

Fans also pointed out the figure's similarities to Saturday Night Live star Melissa Villaseñor, who has played Ariana in comedy skits on the show.

The model was dressed in a cream jumper dress teamed with thigh high boots and boasted Ariana's iconic high ponytail and hand tattoos.

Whilst Ariana's tribute in wax may have fallen flat, the star has had reason to celebrate recently, after being named the new face of Givenchy.

Ariana joins a pantheon of stylish celebrities who've previously worked with the French fashion house.

Julia Roberts, Erykah Badu and Rooney Mara have all held the title of 'the new face of Givenchy' in the past and, of course, the original and most famous face of the label was Audrey Hepburn.

'A modern muse and the voice of a generation, Ariana has emerged as one of the most influential forces in pop culture today,' the brand said in a press release.

'A Grammy award-winning performer, songwriter and singer, she naturally embodies the spirit of the Givenchy woman with impertinence, generosity and a lightning wit — all cloaked in a touch of mystery.'
