Kelly adored the family pet and had previously posted pictures of the animal dressed up for Christmas.
Recently, Basha made a few headlines of his own when Kelly accidentally left her behind in a stranger's vacation home.
In March this year, Kelly along with her husband, Douglas Brunt, and kids, Edward, 8, Yardley, 6, and Thatcher, 4, and dog Basha, were on vacation in Montana. They were looking for their rental when they pulled up outside what they believed was the right address.
The family, including Basha, let themselves into the villa and Kelly said she was surprised, thinking it looked even nicer than it had online. They were about to make themselves at home when they realized why the interior didn't seem to match the description.

She would even dress up the little Shih Tzu in cute costumes, such as this Christmas reindeer outfit
'[We] walk in . . . there's another family inside. Okay? They're there. They're cooking. The music is playing. We're like oh my…' Kelly revealed.
She said they managed to sneak out without revealing the family, and thought they'd made a clean getaway until her husband realized they'd left Basha behind.
'We left her — our evidence — at the first house,' she said. 'So we had to do the walk of shame back to the first place.'
This time they were 'busted' when they returned but were happily reunited with the family pet.
Kelly has previously said that she used to bring Basha, and her other dog Bailey, to work while she was still a host at Fox News.
'In a 2008 interview with AnimalFair she said: 'I love bringing them [to work] because, A) they're a stress reliever no matter where they are, and B) they make everybody happy,' Kelly said. 'Basha is just a lover pup. She loves everybody, she's the nicest, sweetest girl you'll ever play with.'
