The Nambian model, 31, revealed that she actually named first child Dusty Rose at DeGeneres' suggestion, though she was against it at first.

'Adam brought it to me pretty early on in my pregnancy, and he was like, "Ellen came up with this amazing name, Dusty," she explained.

While the supermodel said she loves Dusty Springfield, she didn't want to name her first child Dusty.

'I was like, "Dusty? That is not... my parents are going to think it's a piece of dust,"' she said, because her parents are Afrikans and 'English is not their first language,' but as the months went on, the name grew on her.

She added that, while her husband Adam Levine wants to have five kids, she's thinking more along the lines of 'three or four' kids.

'Just by one. Adam can't have everything,' she said.

'We all know poaching is going on, and devastating things are happening, but I just wanted to join and make a difference, use my voice to let people know, spread awareness,' she added.

Ellen then asked if, while growing up in Namibia, she just saw rhinos and other animals just out and about.

'Not as much as we should see them, especially. They're very solitary animals,' Prinsloo said.

'And, through poaching, their numbers have declined from the 60s to the 90s by like 98%, which is crazy. And they're incredible creatures,' she said.

The model added that the rhinos are being poached for their hair, which, in certain Asian countries, having rhino hair is a, 'form of status,' along with medicinal uses.

'So they think it will cure anything from a headache to cancer, which is not true,' adding that they kill the animals to get their horns as well.

'They do de-horning now,' adding that the poachers, 'basically let the animal bleed to death, and then sell it on the black market.'

'It's just really sad, and I feel like we as human beings are doing this. And we can stop it. So we can't be the reason they go extinct,' she added.
