'I've always felt bad, but I couldn't tell him. Right before, I said to him ''You can go now because I have to go and divorce this monster'' and he just looked at me and took his last breath.'

She explained that her last conversation with her father gave her the strength to leave her estranged husband Stephen Belafonte.

'That gave me the strength, because I'd said it to my dad, so now I have to do it. I just wish he was here.'
