Online trolls have cruelly attacked (inset) murdered Melbourne woman Courtney Herron (main) as a worthless 'heroin junkie' on social media sites dedicated to the homeless. The disgrace comes as sightings of the 25-year old in the lead-up to her brutal murder continue to flow into Crime Stoppers. The young woman's body was found by dog walkers in Royal Park about 9.30am on Saturday. Henry Hammond (left) has been charged with her murder.

Houses with a backyard are selling for less than $100,000 in a city with some of Australia's lowest unemployment. The far west of New South Wales has a jobless level of just 2.8 per cent, which is significantly below the national average of 5.2 per cent. The mining town of Broken Hill, also known as the 'silver city', has average annual unemployment levels that are comparable with some of Sydney's wealthiest suburbs, a CommSec analysis of Australian Bureau of Statistics data showed.

Gogglebox stars Matty and Sarah Marie Fahd announced on Tuesday that they are expecting their first child together. They took to Instagram to share a heartwarming gender reveal post, telling fans they are expecting a boy. Former Australian Test cricketer Gavin Robertson (bottom left and top with wife) is fighting for his life after shock brain cancer diagnosis and emergency surgery from famous neurosurgeon Charlie Teo (right).  The 53-year-old spinner had a tumour removed on Monday May 13, but concerned friends and family have revealed his battle is far from over. 'It's all happened quickly but Dr Charlie Teo is his friend and he told him at 12pm Monday to get to his surgery and he operated 5 hrs later,' Robertson's family wrote on Facebook.

Bernard Tomic has denied not giving it his all - despite lasting just 82 minutes against Taylor Fritz in another forgettable French Open run for the Australian in Paris. There are calls for tennis officials to fine Tomic after he appeared disinterested in playing - with the first set lasting just 23 minutes. The big-serving American easily walked away with a 6-1 6-4 6-1 first round victory - the 21-year-old's most dominant in a grand slam.

Today, royal fans (bottom left) were able to wander through the grounds of Frogmore House (top), allowing them to get a glimpse into the lives of Harry and Meghan. However, despite the beauty of the gardens, several visitors commented on the sound of planes flying overhead, with some wondering how the newborn royal manages to sleep with the constant noise. With Heathrow Airport nearby, 14 flights pass within a mile of the house every thirty minutes. Although visitors passed within 20 feet of Frogmore Cottage, the royal couple weren't spotted, with some saying they tried to 'peer into' the windows.

Moments before, he had been riding his bike along a dirt track when he noticed a car parked ahead. As he slowed down, the driver of the car walked to the back of the vehicle before unloading three shots at point blank range. An injured Mr Tennant crashed to the ground, where his survival instinct immediately kicked in. 'I deliberately played dead, thinking if he thinks I'm dead, he might go away,' he said. 'So he would have seen me hit the ground, let that long breath out, lying perfectly still, and thought, "well I've succeeded in doing it, I've killed him".'

A woman who was recovering from a late night flight awoke to the feeling of something 'flicking her face' - but when she opened her eyes she didn't expect to see a snake. Sally Stent (inset), from Brisbane, returned home at 2am and went to catch up on some sleep, not knowing a python was in her room. After five hours of being blissfully unaware of the snake's presence, Ms Stent was awoken, The Courier Mail reported.

Disgraced former NRL star Ben Barba called police 'rapists' and 'racists' in expletive loaded rant when he was arrested earlier in the month. Authorities were called to a house in east Mackay, Queensland, after a report of a domestic dispute on May 5 at about 2.40am, Mackay Magistrates Court was told on Tuesday. In police bodycam footage from the incident, Barba shouted obscenities as officers attempted to pull him from his home. 

A heavily pregnant woman, 26, was allegedly thrown to the ground and punched in the head in broad daylight in an unprovoked attack. The woman, who is 30 weeks pregnant, was walking to work in Sydney's Surry Hills just before 9am on Tuesday when she was attacked. An off-duty policeman and a passer-by managed to intervene and stop the vicious assault.

Anna Green, the former Melbourne Demons captain's lifestyle blogger wife and mother to their two sons Oliver, 9, and Wilba, 7, died from complications from eye surgery. Green, 38, wrote on Instagram: 'Goodbyes are not forever, are not the end. It simply means, I'll miss you until we meet again. Rest easy my darling #xxx3boys'. A frail looking Ivan Milat has been seen for the first time in a decade, being wheeled out of hospital where he has spent the past two weeks being treated for cancer.  Milat, 74, was transferred from Prince of Wales Hospital, in Randwick, to nearby Long Bay Prison on Tuesday morning under heavy guard from police and prison officers. The ageing killer was dressed in regulation prison greens with long white hair, while his trademark handlebar moustache was also white. Milat - Australia's worst ever serial killer - has been in hospital since May 13 where he is being treated for cancer of the oesophagus. Doctors have told him he likely has just weeks left to live.

But Elsa Pataky may have been lifting a few weights herself recently, as she displayed impressive athleticism during the school run on Monday. The Spanish actress, 42, carried four backpacks as she collected her three children from school in Byron Bay, NSW on Monday.

Footage of Queen Victoria visiting Ireland in 1900 has been discovered by a British Film Institute curator after it lay unnoticed for decades in a New York museum archive. Bryony Dixon said she 'almost fell of her chair' when she saw Victoria in the footage and added it was rare because it showed the monarch smiling, in contrast to the stoic expression she often displayed in portraits. The footage is also believed to be the last time she was caught on camera before her death aged 81 in 1901.

A driver has been slammed by cyclists for 'brake checking' and causing a group of riders to crash into one another. The video, filmed in Victoria, showed the ute driving behind six cyclists as they travelled down a two-lane road. After overtaking, the motorist then stopped suddenly to turn into a driveway, causing two of the cyclists to crash and fall.

A memoir by Nazi Foreign Minister Joachim von Ribbentrop's son has been released in English for the first time and includes unseen photos of the author growing up in London before the Second World War. Rudolf von Ribbentrop (pictured inset in Nazi uniform) went to the exclusive Westminster School while his father was Hitler's ambassador in London from 1936 to 1938. The elder von Ribbentrop was one of Hitler's closest henchmen and rose to become the Third Reich's Foreign Minister before being executed at Nuremburg in 1946 for helping orchestrate the Holocaust. His son went on to fight on both the Eastern and Western fronts and won the Iron Cross - before becoming a wine merchant after the war. He is still alive aged 98 today. His biography was first released in 2008 in German but has now been translated into English for the first time. Inside it several images, many of which have not been seen before, show the Ribbentrop's jovial-looking gatherings with Hitler (left) and the whole family posing for photos. But despite his bloody record, the killer says firing his gun has become a luxury with soaring inflation in President Nicolas Maduro's economy. 'If you empty your clip, you're shooting off $15,' said El Negrito, who spoke on the condition he be identified only by his street name and photographed wearing a hoodie and face mask to avoid attracting unwelcome attention. 'You lose your pistol or the police take it and you're throwing away $800.'

The High Court today released documents that showed a breakdown of her spending by department, although it did not specify the exact items. Last year she became the first woman in the UK to be slapped with an Unexplained Wealth Order by the National Crime Agency demanding she reveal how she and disgraced banker husband Jahangir Hajiyev came by their vast wealth which allowed them to buy an £11.5million Knightsbridge home and a £10.5million Ascot golf club.
