Serena Williams enjoyed a much-deserved break with her family during the French Open on Tuesday.

The 37-year-old has just come off from her win against Russia's Vitalia Diatchenko during their first round match on May 27, and she and her husband Alexis Ohanian decided to pamper themselves with some spa treatments.

On Tuesday morning, Serena shared a photo of the trio in a private spa room at the five-star Peninsula Paris hotel, where their daughter Olympia joined them for some family fun time.

Serena had a staff person take the cute family photo while she, her husband, and her daughter sat snugly in the spa room.

She and Alexis are in separate massage beds and covered in blankets, while Serena is dressed in a white robe.

Next to her under the covers is little Olympia, who is wearing a yellow T-shirt with frilly sleeves.

Serena has a laptop open in her lab, which she indicated is playing The Little Mermaid for her and her daughter to watch.

'Day off getting reflexology at the @thepeninsulaparis @olympiaohanian joined us. She’s obsessed with the little mermaid (So am I),' she wrote.

Olympia does not appear to have had reflexology herself, and it seems to be just a treat for mom and dad.

And an expensive treat, too: Massage treatments at the hotel start at €200 ($223.34) for 60 minutes, while the Paris Spa for Two treatment lasts 180 minutes and costs €880 ($982.71).

The prices are nothing when compared with the cost of some of the more luxury suites in the hotel however; the Katara Suite, for example, which is one of the largest available within the property, costs around €19,665 ($22,299) per night.

Then there is the sprawling Peninsula Suite, which is priced close to a staggering €26,412 ($29,485) for just one night's stay.

It is not clear if Serena is staying in one of the hotel's many sprawling rooms or suites, or whether she and her family simply visited the venue in order to enjoy its lavish spa.

And it wasn't just mom and dad who got the chance to kick back during the visit.

Serena also shared a short video in her Instagram stories of her and Olympia watching the computer, with the little girl staring with rapt attention at the screen.

The mother-of-one is enjoying a rare bit of rest after winning her first match at The Roland Garros 2019 French Open on May 27.

But the win wasn't the big news of the day on Monday: Rather, it was Serena's statement-making outfit on the court.

The tennis star turned heads in a crop top and matching short skirt designed by Virgil Abloh and Nike.

The black and white ensemble had a fishnet lining between the top and bottom, and even had a matching cape featuring the words 'Mother, Champion, Queen, Goddess' written in French — although she did not wear this while playing.

Serena debuted her new look on social media the day before the tournament, wearing it with a longer version of the skirt and the jacket unzipped.

The outfit certainly made a statement a year after Serena was banned from wearing her a catsuit at the tournament in 2018.

In August, French Tennis Federation president Bernard Giudicelli said 'I believe we have sometimes gone too far. Serena’s outfit, for example, would no longer be accepted. You have to respect the game and the place.'

But Serena had spoken out to explain the medical reasoning behind her catsuit, insisting that it was not meant to be a saucy fashion statement, but rather a means of looking after her body following the birth of her daughter.

The aim of the long sleeves and legs was, she said, to protect her because of past bouts with blood clots.

With the outfit, she also wanted to send about self-worth and feeling powerful as she returned to Grand Slam action about nine months after giving birth to her daughter Olympia Ohanian.

'It feels like this suit represents all the women that have been through a lot mentally, physically, with their body to come back and have confidence and to believe in themselves,' she said at the time.

'I definitely feel like it is an opportunity for me to inspire a whole different group of amazing women and kids.'

While Alexis was there to cheer on his wife on Monday, the couple also spent some time sight-seeing with Olympia while in France.

The trio made a stop at Disneyland Paris, and Alexis also took his daughter to the Aquarium de Paris Cinéaqua, where the little girl reacted with glee to the fish.
