Wearing her brunette hair loose, her soft waves swept her shoulders and were tucked behind her ear to show a flash of her drop earrings.

The former journalist kept her make-up to a minimum, showing off her natural beauty while on stage.

Later, she linked arms with husband Felipe, who sported a vibrant blue tie and and charcoal suit.

Take on tweed like Queen Letizia in a Zara waistcoat

The Queen of Spain made a style statement as she joined husband King Felipe for royal duties this week, and Letizia looked stunning as always.

She dressed for the occasion, donning a smart Zara sleeveless waistcoat, paired with cream colored culottes and pink heels. The waistcoat gave off major Chanel vibes (the label most known for their tweed-based designs), but we love that the Queen opted for the more affordable label, which was fitting as she was handing out scholarships at a local university!

Tweed is a springtime favorite, especially when paired with pastels and neutrals. You can get the royal waistcoat for your spring wardrobe - just click (right) to copy the queen! Her jumpsuit, which features loose fitting bottom half which makes it look like a dress, was on sale on the Zara website for just £9.99, reduced from £49.99, before selling out.
