Video footage from Chelsea's final training session before the Europa League final appears to show David Luiz elbowing team-mate Gonzalo Higuain (Main). The alternative angle emerged today aftyer manager Maurizio Sarri (right) stormed off the pitch during the session at Baku's Olympic Stadium after Luiz and Higuain become involved in a row. Sarri threw his cap to the floor in disgust before kicking it away as he headed for the tunnel. Chelsea then later claimed Sarri's outrage was because his side were unable to practice set pieces during the session ahead of their final appearance against Arsenal in Baku on Wednesday evening.
Furious Chelsea fans who paid the club £979 for FLIGHT ONLY to Europa League final are delayed two hours at Luton Airport as fuel delay means supporters will arrive just hours before kick off
Chelsea fans are stuck at Luton Airport with lengthy flight delays halting their travel to Baku for the Europa League final. Thomas Cook offered return economy flights for the 2,468-mile trip to Baku at a price of £979 earlier this month. One fan claimed on Twitter the reason behind the delays was a lack of fuel for the plane: '@ChelseaFC please sort this shambles of a trip to Baku out. I know Thomas Cook may be skint but no fuel for the plane? Really?'
Wilder ducks Fury and Joshua AGAIN: Fans robbed of long-awaited heavyweight title clashes as American announces rematch against Ortiz
Deontay Wilder has announced that he will have a rematch with Luis Ortiz next, leaving Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury in the wilderness once again. The Bronze Bomber, the WBC champion, had been heavily linked to either a mammoth unification fight with Joshua or a rematch with Fury next but both of those fights now seem to be delayed again. Wilder got the better of Ortiz with a 10th-round knockout in March 2018 and will now go toe-to-toe with the Cuban again.
Why there IS life after Real for Ramos: He might leave Madrid on bad terms... but just look at how Raul, Casillas and Ronaldo prospered
PETE JENSON: Real Madrid greats rarely leave the club on wholly good terms, Raul, Iker Casillas and Cristiano Ronaldo will all vouch for that in recent years. Recent events suggest Sergio Ramos is heading the same way. Revelations earlier in the week from the club president Florentino Perez that Ramos’ people had asked for a move to China that would bring the club no transfer fee left the captain looking like the bad guy. Perez was even asked if he felt the China deal was another manoeuvre to get Ramos a new contract – as a possible move to Manchester United had been in 2015 – and he replied: ‘Ask Rene Ramos, his agent, to come here and tell the story. If the player comes with a real offer we will refer to the release clause. We can’t let our captain go for free.’
Niki Lauda’s grieving widow places his F1 helmet on his coffin in funeral in Vienna as hundreds of mourners arrive to pay their respects after his death aged 70
Birgit Lauda, 40, and his two sons Mathias and Lucas (main) were pictured placing his trademark red crash helmet on top of his wooden coffin St. Stephen's Cathedral in his home city of Vienna. Hundreds of fans queued in the rain for hours outside the famous church before they were allowed in to file past his coffin. The triple world champion, best remembered for his comeback from a fiery crash in 1976 that left him badly burned and scarred him for life, died last week at the age of 70. Members of Lauda's family accompanied pallbearers carrying his remains into the gothic cathedral in the morning. His wife Birgit and two of his sons placed Lauda's red-and-white driver's helmet on the casket. Fans then came in and filed past the coffin that was placed on a platform in the centre of the cathedral. Bottom right: Lauda's coffin being brought into the church on Wednesday.

Arsenal fan posts pictures of grim reality of Baku accommodation after reaching Azerbaijan capital ahead of the Europa League final
An Arsenal fan has posted pictures of the accommodation he was promised in Baku (right picture) - and the shockingly grim reality after arriving (left picture). Aaron Rose (top, centre) has travelled 2,500 miles to the Azerbaijan capital for the Europa League final clash with Chelsea. The online snaps of his accommodation show a smart-looking and clean bathroom but when Aaron, 24, arrived he was presented with the lodging's true reality.
Chelsea's redemption man: Top-scorer Giroud has stood the test of time in competition with Morata and Higuain... and he'll now look to down former side Arsenal
Ask Eden Hazard and Willian who they enjoy playing alongside the most at Chelsea. Then go and ask Kylian Mbappe and Antoine Griezmann the same question for the France national team. The answer will be OIivier Giroud. Why? He makes those around him flourish, does the hard work others wont and is comfortable in the role he provides, rather than wilting under the pressure to be the main marksman of a side. 'I feel like I'm a team player,' he told Sportsmail earlier this month .
The big Baku party! Chelsea and Arsenal fans go wild late into the night before final today (and kick-off isn't until 11pm...)
As day turned to night in Baku on Tuesday, Arsenal and Chelsea supporters continued to enjoy themselves as they prepared for the Europa League final. While their respective teams trained on the pitch at the Olympic Stadium, the fans who had made the mammoth journey from London and beyond drank in many of the city's old town pubs. It has largely been an extraordinarily tough last week or two for both sets of supporters who have been forced into forking out thousands for tickets, travel and accommodation.
Karius's girlfriend Sophia Thomalla has 'LOSER' sprayed onto her car after on-loan Liverpool goalkeeper suggested he was keen to stay at Besiktas next season
Loris Karius' partner Sophia Thomalla has had the word 'LOSER' spray painted onto her car after the on-loan Liverpool goalkeeper suggested he was keen to stay at Besiktas next season. The German goalkeeper is currently half way through the first year of a two-season loan deal with the Turkish club. It was thought that he was considering terminating his time in Istanbul after an up and down campaign, but on Sunday he appeared to commit to the club for another season.
CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL
Tottenham were a VAR decision from elimination, Liverpool suffered a shock defeat against Red Star Belgrade and BOTH produced stunning semi-final comebacks... how the Champions League finalists made it to Madrid
Tottenham and Liverpool will meet in the Champions League final on Saturday night after producing two of the best comebacks in the competition's history. Much like the semi-finals, their European campaigns have been tumultuous affairs and both very nearly didn't make it out of the group stages. Here, Sportsmail reflects on the key moments in their miraculous routes to Madrid.
Tottenham squad boasts 15 more trophy wins than Liverpool... but Moreno is the ONLY player at either club to have played in and won a European final
Spurs do have 11 players who know what it feels like to win major silverware. Tottenham's current squad includes 23 players who have featured in their Champions League campaign to date and, between them, they have won 52 career trophies. Liverpool have used 18 different players in Europe this season and that group has won 37 major titles. Lucas Moura, who scored a stunning hat-trick in his side's semi-final win over Ajax, is the most decorated player in Tottenham's squad with 12 titles — 11 of which came during his time at PSG.
Well THAT'S a strike! 'Worst ever' ceremonial first pitch hits White Sox photographer – and was thrown by the club's employee of the month!
The age-old baseball tradition of having a fan or member of the public throw the first pitch took a nasty turn before the MLB clash between the Kansas City Royals and the Chicago White Sox on Tuesday night. The pressure and tension of performing in front of thousands can often bring the best out of sports stars but it seemed to have the opposite effect on one lady at Guaranteed Rate Field. A White Sox employee of the month had the honour of throwing the game's first pitch but, to put it mildly, she was just a little bit off target.

The inside story of England's World Cup of woe: 1999 saw failed fireworks, contract cock-ups, Anneka Rice and a song released after the hosts had crashed out
The last World Cup held in England 20 years ago was a massive opportunity for cricket to put on a true carnival. It turned into one of the worst of many England cricketing disasters that plagued the 1980s and 90s. Sportsmail looks back at that doomed tournament through the eyes of the England coach at the time, David Lloyd, one of their players, Nasser Hussain, and our then cricket correspondent, Mike Dickson.
'I'm in one of the best shapes of my life': Plunkett is fighting fit to spearhead England's pursuit of World Cup glory
EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW BY JAMES DUTTON: England may have plucked a new fast-bowling saviour ahead of the World Cup in Jofra Archer. But discount Liam Plunkett at your peril. He has been there since the start of England's white ball revolution under Eoin Morgan in 2015 and he is primed to lead the charge to World Cup glory this summer. Plunkett may have turned 34 last month, but he says there is no chance of him slowing down just yet and he says the close-season move to Surrey has given him a 'new lease of life'. 'I feel as fit as ever', he tells Sportsmail. 'I feel like I'm in one of the best shapes of my life. I feel in a really good spot.'
'Last second, I just reacted': MLB pitcher Jeremy Jeffress dives out the way to avoid being injured by a flying ball... and somehow makes a stunning catch!
Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Jeremy Jeffress displayed incredible reactions to avoid serious injury while also taking one of the best catches in Major League Baseball history on Monday night. After pitching to Willians Astudillo, 31-year-old Jeffress saw the ball fly straight back towards him. It looked as though the powerfully-hit shot was set to strike Jeffress — who was not wearing a helmet — on his head but he did remarkably well to dodge out of the way. That was only half of the story though, because Jeffress somehow managed to catch the ball one-handed to dismiss Minnesota Twins batter Astudillo.

Neymar did not let him get to the ball on the other side as he grabbed his bib and pulled him back.
Dhoni smashes brutal hundred to lead India past Bangladesh in final World Cup warm-up
MS Dhoni hit a quickfire century as India concluded their World Cup build-up by posting a 95-run victory over Bangladesh in Cardiff. Dhoni's 78-ball 113 was the highlight of India's 359 for seven, while KL Rahul hit 108 and captain Virat Kohli 47. It left Bangladesh needing more than seven an over in pursuit of their victory target.
