Sandy Yawn of Below Deck Mediterranean confirms new relationship with gospel singer Leah Shafer
Sandy Yawn confirmed Tuesday that she's in a new relationship with gospel singer Leah Shafer.
The 54-year-old Below Deck Mediterranean star took to social media after reports surfaced of their romance.
'So Happy!,' she tweeted along with a link to a Bravo article about their relationship.

Captain Sandy joined the Bravo spin-off for season two in 2017 as the luxury yacht Sirocco worked the charter season in Croatia.
The couple first met through Facebook and Sandy has moved from Los Angeles to Denver to be with Leah.
'She sent me a nice message that said, ''I came across your show, congratulations, many blessings'',' Sandy told The Cheat Sheet.
Sandy said the 'many blessings' part of the note struck a cord as God is a big part of her life.

The reality star claimed it was love at first sight with Leah when they met in November in Los Angeles and the singer agreed that it was magical.
'It was definitely unexpected. It just happened, when you meet another soul that you connect with at such a deep level, it is unexplainable and so beautiful,' Leah said.
Leah has sung the national anthem at Denver Broncos games and Sandy said they were working together on a musical collaboration.

Sandy thanked her fans on Twitter on Tuesday for their positive responses to their relationship.
'Thank you all so much for the beautiful and loving tweets! I'm overwhelmed with your happiness for us. Much Love!,' she tweeted to her roughly 42,000 followers.
Leah was married to TV host Ross Shafer, 64, and they have a 13-year-old daughter LaurenRae who they adopted in 2006.

The gospel singer told The Cheat Sheet that she has received backlash from some religious institutions since going public with their relationship.
'It's looked against it, loving the same sex. I think you can't help who you fall in love with. God is love. He doesn't care,' Leah said.
Below Deck Mediterranean will have its season four premiere on June 3 on Bravo.
