Love Island: Curtis Pritchard WON'T date a party girl or be getting intimate in the villa... and admits he and AJ 'don’t talk about women'
He's the brother of Strictly professional AJ Pritchard.
But despite their close bond, Curtis Pritchard has revealed that he and his big brother don't talk about women with each other.
In a chat with MailOnline ahead of entering the Love Island villa on Monday, Curtis, 23, discussed searching for romance on the show, and detailed what he will be looking for in a lady.

The Dancing With The Stars professional has ruled out dating a party girl on the island, as he claimed he wouldn’t want to start a relationship with someone who ‘goes out drinking all of the time’ and ‘doesn’t respect themselves’.
Detailing 'his type on paper', the new islander revealed: ‘If I had to say what my supposed type would be I’d say blonde hair, athletic body, respects themselves and not too fake. So it’s completely different I don’t really have a type.’
‘Just somebody that looks after themselves and doesn’t go out drinking all the time, looking after themselves a bit, a bit of hygiene – a whole variety of things really.’
However, if and when he does strike up a romance on the show, Curtis admitted that he won’t be doing the ‘Do Bits Society’ [a term coined during last years show to describe getting intimate] and draws the line at anything more than kissing.
Brotherly love: Curtis revealed that he doesn’t know much about his brother’s dating history because he doesn’t see him enough to ask
He said: ‘I’d kiss somebody; if it’s any further than that I think it’s private business that should be done in your own time in private, it shouldn’t be publicised to the world.
'It’s making love and stuff like that, the world shouldn’t see that. It should be private and in your own time.'
Although he has a flourishing career in the dance world outside the show, Curtis confessed that it wouldn’t be the thought of his future after the villa that will be holding him back.
The Shropshire native said: 'I’d say it was my upbringing; nothing to do with my career - it’s just who I am and my beliefs really. I’ve been brought up with a lot of respect.
Type on paper: The new islander siad, ‘If I had to say what my supposed type would be I’d say blonde hair, athletic body, respects themselves and not too fake. So it’s completely different I don’t really have a type'
'That aspect of life is all about respect; you have to be respectful in that way. You don’t just show it and flaunt it to the world.'
Curtis, who claims to be ‘caring, a little bit crazy and good fun’, also touched on his brother’s rumoured romance with the show’s host Caroline Flack.
However he revealed that he doesn’t know much about his brother’s dating history because he doesn’t see him enough to ask, adding: ‘I couldn’t tell you [if it’s going to be awkward]. I literally don’t know, don’t read the papers and don’t see him enough to talk about it.’
The boys did have enough time to chat about Curtis’ upcoming experience on the show, however, as he revealed that AJ has offered him some words of wisdom when it comes to handling the experience.
The line-up: 12 new faces are set to make their grand arrival on Monday night
In the spotlight: Although he has a flourishing career in the dance world outside the show, Curtis confessed that it wouldn’t be the thought of his future after the villa that will be holding him back
‘He said go in there and be yourself and if you lock eyes with someone and you feel like that’s the person to go for then go for them!' he said of AJ's advice. 'So he just said to be yourself and enjoy it.’
Detailing AJ and the rest of his family’s reaction to him joining the show, he said: ‘He’s over the moon, absolutely ecstatic, the whole family is – mum and dad as well.
‘They just can’t wait to see me on TV. I had a phone call with them before I left and they were getting upset but, like, excited upset. They couldn’t wait to see me on TV. Couldn’t wait to get rid of me as well!'
Face of the show: Curtis, who claims to be ‘caring, a little bit crazy and good fun’, also touched on his brother’s rumoured romance with the show’s host Caroline Flack
Due to his famous relative and own prolific image there is always the chance that once the islanders meet Curtis they are likely to recognise him from the outside world.
But the dancer revealed he ‘hasn’t really thought about it’ and is simply there to find a partner, while being himself and enjoying the ride.
When questioned about what his hopes after leaving the villa are, Curtis admitted that his incentive for joining the show is not a bid to join the cast of Strictly Come Dancing alongside his brother.
Shropshire native: He also discussed how he plans to use his inevitably-increased social media profile, afterwards
Although, he didn’t entirely rule out a move to the British version of the show, confessing: ‘Who knows what the future holds; that is not a reason why I’m doing this at all, but who knows what the future holds.’
He also discussed how he plans to use his inevitably-increased social media profile, afterwards.
‘I’d love do stuff with mental health and dementia hopefully in the future and make a difference. My nan’s got dementia, it’s very, very close to me already. That’s what I’d like to use it for, to make a difference,' he said.
Love Island kicks off on Monday at 9PM on ITV2.
