Meanwhile, Millie's on-screen father figure David Harbour also teased details about the upcoming season in an interview with MailOnline.

During London's Comic Con event on Sunday, the 44-year-old actor, who plays Jim Hopper in the Netflix science fiction horror series, told us: [Season three is] moving.'

When asked whether he anticipated the success of the hit series, he admitted: 'No, I had the opposite feeling I thought it was going to be a disaster.

'I thought for sure this is going to be the first Netflix show that didn’t get a second season, and I thought I would never work again. I thought I was awful.'

He went on to divulge about how Hopper and Eleven's strong father-daughter relationship will be played out in this series.

The Between Us star explained: 'When this [series] starts out, Eleven is becoming a woman, she’s discovering boys, and Hopper has a big problem with this.

'He’s a throwback dad who has real problems with his little girl being with a boy, so that story courses through the season and it’s quite interesting, it’s quite moving to see where it goes.'
