Pioneer Woman Ree Drummond assures fans her ranch is fine after Oklahoma is hit with deadly tornadoes but 'many of our Oklahoma neighbors are not'

Ree Drummond says her Pawhuska, Oklahoma ranch is fine after a spate of deadly tornadoes hit the state over the weekend.

The 50-year-old Food Network star tweeted on Tuesday assuring her fans that her home and family were unscathed - but that many of her neighbors weren't so lucky.

'We are fine on the ranch and in Pawhuska, but so many of our Oklahoma neighbors are not. Please keep our beautiful state in your hearts and prayers.' she wrote.

Amidst severe weather in the region an E-F3 tornado touched down near the El Reno suburb on Saturday night leveling a motel and mobile homes, killing two and injuring at least 29.

The tornado destroyed buildings across a two-mile path it ripped through the area. 

President Donald Trump, wrapping up a trip to Asia, tweeted that he had offered federal resources for the cleanup and workers have been delivering food and supplies to stricken residents.

The Tulsa suburb of Sapulpa was also hit on Sunday morning.

Ree is married to Ladd Drummond and the couple raise their four children on their ranch.

The Drummond family are one of the largest landowners in the U.S., owning 433,000 acres of property.

Last year Ree added to her empire opening a boutique hotel in Pawhuska just down the block from her wildly successful restaurant and store, the Mercantile.

She and Ladd created 250 jobs with the two enterprises and also later added a steakhouse and saloon in the downtown area last year. 

Ree was forced to evacuate her ranch last year when another tornado headed straight for her home.

At the time she tweeted: 'We are fine! It was headed straight for our place, so I drove to my sister-in-law's house with the boys. (Gotta love that detailed radar; you can see everything down to the county road number)

'My husband, meanwhile, drove straight into the storm to watch it. Ranchers…' she added.

Another three people died last Wednesday when a tornado packing speeds of 160 miles (260 kilometers) per hour tore through Jefferson City in Missouri.

And residents near Dayton, Ohio were hit by multiple 'rapid fire' tornadoes on Monday night leaving one dead and 80,000 people without power as day broke on Tuesday.

Federal government weather forecasters have logged preliminary reports of more than 500 tornadoes in a 30-day period across the Midwest.
