Michael Bublé has revealed that he was certain he'd quit music after his son, Noah, was diagnosed with cancer

Speaking to Stellar magazine on Sunday, the 42-year-old said he'd been to 'hell' during the experience. 

'I truly thought I would never go back [to music]. I was done. It just seemed completely unimportant compared to what was going on with Noah,' the Canadian performer told the publication.

He added: 'Things got very clear for me, very quickly. I live with no fear now. I've been to hell.' 

As his son entered remission, the Feeling Good singer says everything in his life improved.  

'Food never tasted so good, music never sounded so good, my relationship with my family, my faith... all of it. My wife and I, we got happy, we fell in love again,' he said.

The crooner will bring his entire family including his newborn daughter Vida with him on his upcoming Australian tour.

The Haven't Met You Yet hitmaker told Sydney SmoothFM's Bogart and Glenn show: 'I don't want to miss stuff, so as much as we can we'll be together.'  

Michael's daughter Vida will be two-months old when the family of five travel to Sydney for the special Allianz Stadium Closing Show Celebration in October.

Michael shares daughter Vida, and sons Noah and two-year-old Elias, with actress wife Luisana Lopilato. 

Michael's son Noah was diagnosed with liver cancer in November 2016, before starting a four-month course of chemotherapy.  

In April last year, Michael's model wife Luisana said: 'Thank God, my son is well. When things like those that happened to us occur, your take on life changes.'
