Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans 'sobs in court' after losing custody of her three children one month after husband David Eason fatally shot their pet dog

  • Jenelle, who appeared on MTV show Teen Mom 2 in 2011, has reportedly lost custody of her children Ensley, two, and Kaiser, four
  • She had already lost custody of her eldest son, nine-year-old Jace
  • The reality star was 'sobbing' in court as she was told she had 'failed to protect the children while they were in her care', according to a new report
  • Her husband David Eason shot the family pet last month, claiming the French bulldog had behaved 'aggressively' toward their toddler, Ensley
  • Jenelle and David were ordered by the judge to undergo drug tests once a week, counseling and parenting courses in order to potentially regain custody
  • Evans was subsequently let go by MTV in the wake of the shooting
  • Following the incident, Child Protective Services investigated the couple's home, describing it as 'filthy' with 'holes in all of the walls'

All three of Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans' kids now have been removed from her custody amid her turbulent marriage to David Eason.

A judge in North Carolina stripped the MTV personality, 27, of custody of her three children - sons Jace, nine, and Kaiser, four, from past relationships; and daughter Ensley, two, who she shares with Eason - one month after her husband, 30, fatally shot the family's pet French bulldog after the dog had behaved aggressively toward their toddler, Ensley.

The judge told a 'sobbing' Evans that she had 'failed to protect the children while they were in her care,' insiders told Radar.

'Jenelle was sobbing in court ... [she] believed that her lawyer was going to be able to get her children back and she seemed stunned when this happened.'

Jenelle's mother Barbara Evans, who already has custody of her eldest son Jace, will also take over legal custody of daughter Ensley; while Kaiser's dad, Jenelle's ex Nathan Griffith, will take over legal custody of the boy.

Insiders told TMZ that until further notice from the court, Evans and Eason will be restricted to an hour of supervised visitation a week.

The two were ordered by the judge to undergo drug tests once a week, counseling and parenting courses on a track to potentially regain custody of the kids, according to the outlet.

A source previously told TMZ that Evans must decide between remaining with Eason or getting her kids back.

Amid the ongoing developments, 'Jenelle is standing by David,' as 'despite what happened, she has no plans to leave him,' a source told Radar.

The legal ruling comes after officials removed the kids from the home following Eason's shooting of their family dog Nugget.

David videotaped Ensley playing with their French Bulldog and shared the clip to his followers on one of his many social media accounts.

As Ensley tried to kiss the puppy named Nugget, the dog — who is clearly uncomfortable as it cowers and pulls away from the little girl — nipped back at the girls face while the video continued to roll on.

The Blast reported that David 'grabbed the dog by the throat and slammed it on the ground' before throwing the helpless animal into the kitchen table.

He then threw the dog's body out of the door before grabbing a pistol and shotgun and returning outside to shoot the puppy to death, only to return to the home 'covered in blood.'

He was unapologetic about the killing in a subsequent Instagram post addressing his actions.

'Some people are worth killing or dying for and my family means that much to me,' he said. '

You can hate me all you want but this isnt the first time the dog bit Ensley aggressively. The only person that can judge [whether] or not a animal is a danger to MY CHILD is ME.'

Evans was subsequently let go by MTV in the wake of the incident, as the network said in a statement, 'We have stopped filming with Jenelle ... as of April 6, 2019, and have no plans to cover her story in the upcoming season,' noting that they also 'ended [their] relationship with David Eason over a year ago in February 2018.'

Child Protective Services also began a probe of Eason and Evans following the dog's death, according to The Blast, and sources told Radar that 'CPS described the state of the home as horrific,' as 'it was filthy, and there were holes in all of the walls.'

Evans told US that the agency directed Kaiser's paternal grandmother Doris to take the child without her approval.

'Kaiser was taken away Friday without my consent, before Mother's Day, and I have been in touch with my lawyer pertaining this matter,' she told the magazine.

'CPS told Doris to take Kaiser without my consent and still have no legal paperwork signed by the judge stating my kids are taken from me.'

The former reality star has been married to David for nearly three years.
