The Lion King character posters reveal new looks at the young and adult versions of Simba and Nala plus more Pride Rock characters
Disney has released 11 new character posters for The Lion King, with just 50 days left until this live-action adaptation hits theaters July 19.
These posters, unveiled through The Lion King Twitter on Thursday, feature both young and adult versions of Simba and Nala.
Donald Glover and Beyonce Knowles-Carter voice the adult versions of Simba and Nala, while their younger counterparts are voiced by JD McCrary and Shahadi Wright Joseph.

Adult Nala: These posters, unveiled through The Lion King Twitter on Thursday, feature both young and adult versions of Simba and Nala
Simba and Nala are the only two primary characters who have different actors providing their voices at different points in their lives.
This adaptation of the original 1994 animated classic follows young Simba's quest, as he goes into exile after the murder of his father Mufasa (James Earl Jones).
Simba ultimately makes his way back to Pride Rock, to reclaim his father's kingdom, in the original animated movie.
Young Simba and Nala: Donald Glover and Beyonce Knowles-Carter voice the adult versions of Simba and Nala, while their younger counterparts are voiced by JD McCrary and Shahadi Wright Joseph
Also featured in the posters are Jones' Mufasa and Alfre Woodard's Sarabi, the parents of Simba.
Jones reprises his voice role from the original animated classic, the only voice actor from the original who returned for this adaptation.
Voicing the villainous Scar, Mufasa's brother and Simba's uncle, in this adaptation is Chiwetel Ejifor, voiced by Jeremy Irons in the original classic.

The final posters feature John Oliver as Zazu and John Kani as Rafiki.

The Lion King is shaping up to be one of the biggest movies of the year, with Pro.BoxOffice.com projecting a $201 million opening weekend.
Its opening weekend range could be as low as $180 million, and as high as $230 million, either of which would make it the second highest debut of 2019, behind Marvel Studios' Avengers: Endgame ($357.1 million)
The Lion King is also projected to take in $650 million during its domestic box office run, when it hits theaters on July 19.
