Yet, Alicia Vikander, 30, and husband Michael Fassbender, 42, made a rare cosy public appearance as they stepped out in Killarney, Ireland.
The Swedish actress had been filming her latest film Green Knight in Dublin and took a welcome break from shooting alongside co-star Dev Patel to spend time with her other half in his hometown.

Looking stylish for the outing, Alicia donned a tan-coloured suede jacket with silver studding over a simple grey marl jumper.
The Oscar-winning actress teamed the look with a pair of black culotte jeans and white trainers as they obliged taking photos with fans.

The actress was spotted sporting this suede jacket from the designer label’s Resort ’18 line.
We love the buttery soft suede finish, as well as the statement studded detailing. The embellishment creates an eye-catching aesthetic alongside the tan shade, but it’s not so OTT that you couldn’t layer it with jeans, dresses and so much more.

Things went from strength to strength and the pair went on to tie the knot in a romantic ceremony in Ibiza in 2017, with film director Steve McQueen among those on the guest list.
Alicia and Michael have since relocated to Lisbon together, of which the actress told Elle: 'When I met my husband three and a half years ago, he had mentioned he’d been to Lisbon and loved it, and I knew friends who were moving out there.

Meanwhile, Alicia has recently been busy filming for the movie Green Knight in Ireland.
The film, directed by David Lowery, stars Dev Patel as Sir Gawain - a knight of King Arthur's Round Table who accepts a challenge to behead the mysterious Green Knight.
It is based on a 14th century Middle English poem and is one of the most well known of the Arthurian stories. Erin Kellyman, Ralph Ineson and Barry Keoghan are also set to feature in the film.
