Britney Spears does handstand splits and stretches leg over head in eye-popping yoga session

Britney Spears let her almost 22 million Instagram followers in on her eye-popping yoga session this Wednesday.

The 37-year-old pop star performed dizzying handstand splits, then lay sideways across her mat and stretched her leg up over her head.

Sweeping her trademark blonde hair into a ponytail, Britney showed off her chiseled midriff and dancer's legs in barely-there workout gear.

The first part of her video was set to last year's single Touch Down by Stylo G and Fanatix featuring Nicki Minaj and Vybz Kartel.

A People insider recently dished Britney's fitness model beau Sam Asghari 'is a great guy. He is always very sweet and protective of Britney.'

The source explained: 'He works during the week and often has photo shoots, but tries to spend most weekends with Britney. It’s great for Britney to spend time with Sam. He takes her out for things that she loves like shopping and restaurants.'

Britney, who was scheduled to begin her second Las Vegas residency in February, announced in January that she was deferring the gig.

She has still yet to confirm when or if the residency will occur - and in April, TMZ reported she had entered a treatment center for her mental health.

Her father and estate conservator Jamie Spears has been facing down serious kidney illnesses, and his poor health is apparently a major strain on Britney.

Earlier this month, she was spotted leaving a courtroom barefoot after attempting to regain some of the freedoms denied her by the conservatorship, per TMZ.

The hashtag #FreeBritney has taken off online among some of her fans, and protesters for the cause gathered outside her conservatorship hearing.

Her manager Larry Rudolph told TMZ this week that 'based on the information I and all of the professionals who work with her are being told on a need-to-know basis - from what I have gathered it's clear to me she should not be going back to do this Vegas residency, not in the near future and possibly never again.'

This month, a photographer caught sight of Britney out with Sam and got her to say that 'Of course' she would perform again, The Blast reported.

Britney and Sam met met when he featured in the music video for Slumber Party, a single from her latest album Glory, released in August of 2016, according to TMZ.

In a steamy bit of the video, she crawls across a long, gleaming table, licking its surface, while a besuited Sam sits at the end, staring her down.

The 35-year-old's storied romantic history's included a 55-hour Las Vegas marriage to Jason Allen Alexander, which began and was annulled in 2004.

A longer marriage to Kevin Federline stretched from 2004 to 2007 and produced two sons, 12-year-old Jayden and 13-year-old Sean.

One night in 2008, amid her legal battle with Kevin over their sons, she refused to hand the children over to him despite the fact he had won temporary custody.

Britney, whom police theorized was 'under the influence of an unknown substance' that evening, brought her sons into the en suite bathroom of her house's master bedroom and holed up in there with them.

The authorities were called to the hostage crisis and retrieved the pop icon on a gurney, whereupon she was briefly hospitalized and for a time lost visitation rights - though she now shares custody with Kevin.

Jamie became her conservator that year with lawyer Andrew Wallet, who resigned his post this March, leaving Britney's father in charge alone.
