Just weeks after Game Of Thrones wrapped up its epic eight-season run, series creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have fired their manager of 20 years.

Benioff and Weiss have parted ways with Guymon Casady of Management 360, as they seek a new writing overall deal, according to Deadline.

Casady also served as a producer on Game of Thrones, having been the one who originally connected the creators to Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin.

'Guymon has been a good friend and partner to us for many years, and we look forward to the next chapter in our relationship,' Benioff and Weiss said.

'His eye for great material is keener than it’s ever been, and we expect to be producing many shows and films with him in the future,' they concluded.

Both Benioff and Weiss will continue to be represented by their agents at Creative Artists Agency (CAA) and their attorney Gretchen Rush of Hansen Jacobson.

Benioff and Weiss have been setting up meetings around town in search of a new global overall deal.

Deadline reported two weeks ago that the writer/producer/directors have currently met with HBO/WarnerMedia, Disney and Comcast, plus streaming giants Netflix, Amazon and Apple.

The creators will take their time in finding a new overall deal, but they are already keeping plenty busy, since they've been tasked to write and produce a new Star Wars trilogy.

Very little is known about Benioff and Weiss' new Star Wars trilogy, but it was confirmed that that the next Star Wars movie arriving in 2022, will be the first in their trilogy.

Benioff and Weiss' films have previously been confirmed by Disney to not be connected to a separate trilogy written and directed by The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson.

Disney had previously announced three new Star Wars films arriving December 16, 2022, December 12, 2024 and December 18, 2026, which will be Benioff and Weiss' new trilogy.
