Kaia Gerber, 17, proved it when she was spotted on a casual stroll in New York City on Tuesday in a pair of straight-leg trousers, bright-white Converse high-top trainers and a navy cardigan sans shirt underneath.
She had her auburn locks tied into a relaxed bun and carried a satchel of items from CVS Pharmacy in her hand.

Kaia's rise to fashion fame can be partially credited to supermodel mum Cindy Crawford, 53.
Following in her mother's footsteps, Gerber's star is shining bright.

Crawford launched her career when she was Gerber's age now after she placed runner-up in a contest held by Elite Model Management, who later came to represent her.

In 1991, Crawford wed actor Richard Gere, 56, but they split in 1995. Afterward, she married current husband Rande Gerber in 1998.
Crawford and Gerber are parents to son Presley, 19, and Kaia, who both share the same career as models.
