Three weeks after her mother Peggy Lipton's passing, Rashida Jones reported for work Tuesday on the Manhattan set of On The Rocks, the first movie on Apple's new streaming platform.
The 43-year-old Grammy winner sported minimal make-up and she was dressed down in a b&w-striped sweater, blue jeans, and grey sneakers for the scene.
The Harvard University grad plays a mother-of-two 'who reconnects with her larger-than-life playboy father (Bill Murray) on an adventure through New York' - according to Deadline.

'She made her journey peacefully with her daughters and nieces by her side. We feel so lucky for every moment we spent with her,' Jones and her older sister Kidada said in a statement to the LA Times.
'We can't put all of our feelings into words right now, but we will say: Peggy was and will always be our beacon of light, both in this world and beyond. She will always be a part of us.'
