Transparent finale trailer reveals the Phefferman family reacting to the DEATH of Jeffrey Tambor's Maura with a bizarre stage musical

Amazon Prime Video has released the first trailer for the long-awaited Transparent Musical Finale, which teases how the show will wrap up without longtime series lead Jeffrey Tambor.

After Tambor was ousted from the show in February 2018, following two separate accusations of sexual misconduct, it was first believed that the subsequent season would be the show's last, before it was confirmed to be a two-hour musical special.

The brief trailer (courtesy of Amazon Prime Video YouTube), opens with a phone ringing and Shelly (Judith Light) answering, hearing Davina (Alexandra Billings) say, 'Maura's dead.'

Shelly is in a gymnasium, standing next to a rack of blue balls, which all topple to the ground, as we see the reactions of other members of the Pfefferman family.

Josh (Jay Duplass) drops a pot of coffee on the ground while looking at his phone, while Ali (Gaby Hoffman) encounters some turbulence on her plane.

The third Pfefferman child, Sarah (Amy Landecker) brings her car to a screeching halt, while we see a shot of all three kids looking down at what could be a casket box.
