Dean McDermott was quick to wife Tori Spelling's defense after the Beverly Hills, 90210 actress posted a bikini shot to social media that garnered a spate of critical comments.
The 52-year-old Open Range actor responded to a remark that intimated Tori was 'trying too hard to be relevant' with the shot alongside her castmates, in which she wore a black bikini top and high waist shorts.
'I love how you haters have private accts!!' the Slasher star said in response to critical comments. 'Let's see what you trolls look like ya cowards!!!'

In the shot, Spelling, 46, posed alongside Beverly Hills, 90210 co-stars Gabrielle Carteris, 58, and Jennie Garth, 47, as the trio relaxed on a rooftop lounge area while filming in Vancouver, Canada.

The Toronto native, who is father to five children with Tori - Liam 12, Stella, 10, Hattie, seven, Finn, six, and Beau, two - has past taken up for his spouse on social media, defending her in March to critics of her decision to feed their kids muffins.
Spelling, who reprises her role as Donna on the upcoming iteration of the 90s series, told US in February that 'it's not easy' to constantly take abuse on social media, particularly when the vitriol is aimed at her children.

'I have dealt with it forever, but when they say things about your kids, you're just like … "What?" Everyone is so anti-bullying these days, but it feels like lately with celebrities, that doesn't apply,' she said. 'You can say whatever you want about celebrities and their kids, their family, but you can't say it anywhere else in any other profession.'
She later added: 'The thing that I hate too are these internet cowboys who have these made-up titles that they hide behind and … have private accounts.
'You want something, you have something to say, say it to my face, and tell me who you are.'
The reboot, which is titled BH90210, brings back the show's principal players: Spelling, Garth, Carteris, Jason Priestley, Shannen Doherty, Brian Austin Green and Ian Ziering. It hits the air August 7 at 9/8c.
