Richard Madden has revealed he watched Bodyguard's steamy sex scenes with his mum Pat.
Speaking in The Hollywood Reporter's Drama Actor Roundtable, the actor, 32, confessed it's 'never great fun' to re-watch the steamy encounters, but he tries to 'prepare her' before the moment appears on-screen.
Richard also candidly revealed that the isolation he underwent to play PS David Budd left him feeling 'broken.'

Richard earned a whole new army of fans last year when he played the Principal Protection Officer of Home Secretary Julia Montague (played by Keeley Hawes).

Under the veil of a terrorist threat, the pair embarking on a steamy affair behind closed doors, and Richard joked he never enjoys watching the scenes with his family.
The Game Of Thrones star said: 'A sex scene with Mum watching is never great fun. I usually [try to prepare her], but sometimes you forget. And then it's tea spat out or "Cover your eyes!" And you're like, ''Well I've seen it, I was in it.'''
Richard shares a close bond with his mum Pat, a classroom assistant, and dad Richard, who works for the fire brigade, and the pair have made several public appearances with their son at events.

Richard was appearing in the Roundtable with fellow acting stars Hugh Grant, Billy Porter, Stephan James, Diego Luna and Sam Rockwell.
The Cinderella star also spoke about the mental struggles he faced after filming for Bodyguard wrapped, admitting the isolation he underwent to embody the role took its toll.
'You spend so much time in someone else's clothes, saying someone else's words, thinking someone else's thoughts, that you lose a bit of yourself. And I'm not a method actor in any way, but you get a huge hangover.
'And at the end of that, I felt broken, much like the character was. Physically and mentally exhausted. I know we're not curing cancer, but you're giving everything you've got.'

Richard earned plenty of critical acclaim for his performance in Bodyguard, and was awarded a Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Television Series - Drama, and the National Television Award for Best Drama Performance.
It comes after the star dodged a question about his relationship with Sam Smith's ex Brandon Flynn, as it was implied they are more than just close friends.
During an interview with the New York Times to promote his role in the Elton John biopic Rocketman, the star said: 'I just keep my personal life personal. I've never talked about my relationships.'
Richard was most recently dating Ellie Bamber, 21, until earlier this year but they split amid claims that they had became 'worlds apart'.
Before that he was in a relationship with Jenna Coleman, 33, for four years.
