Orion Pictures announced Wednesday that SMILF star Samara Weaving and Atypical actress Brigette Lundy-Paine were cast as daughters Thea Preston and Billie Logan in next year's Bill & Ted Face the Music.

Coincidentally, the Australian 27-year-old happens to be the niece of Hugo Weaving, who famously co-starred with Bill & Ted's Keanu Reeves in the Matrix trilogy.

And the Texas-born 24-year-old - who's playing Keanu's onscreen daughter - last made headlines by coming out as queer to the Advocate in September.

Production on the three-quel begins this month in New Orleans with Reeves and Alex Winter reprising their roles as the titular time-traveling metalhead slackers from San Dimas.
