Comedian Phoebe Robinson has met a lot — really, a lot — of other celebrities in her time hosting podcasts, starring in HBO specials, and acting in movies. But no one comes close to Michelle Obama.
Phoebe, 34, got to sit down with the former first lady on multiple occasions last year, interviewing her on the final episode of 2 Dope Queens and later on her 'Becoming' book tour.
And according to the funny lady, it was just about as incredible as she'd expected.
'That was definitely like — I can't believe I'm talking to Meech right now,' she told DailyMail.com last week while promoting her new campaign for Schick Intuition f.a.b. razors.

'She was so open so it really felt like you could talk about a lot of things. She's really down to earth, and I think she's so willing to give advice,' she said (pictured in December 2018)
'I think meeting Michelle Obama on her book tour was just the coolest, craziest thing,' Phoebe said.
'First of all, we just got a call like, "Michelle Obama wants you guys to interview her for your podcast" and we were like, "What?"' she said, recalling the reaction she and co-host Jessica Williams had.
'Cause we used to always joke, "Oh yeah, Michelle listens to the podcast." But then when she came calling we were like, "Oh, I guess she really does listen to it."'
'It was really cool because we wanted to get to know her, and I think her being the first black lady who's the first lady in the White House, there was a lot of pressure with that. I think we remember the good times but we don't remember that a lot of the time, it was really hard on her. She had a lot of pressure.'
Phoebe and Jessica didn't go easy on the questions, asking Mrs. Obama about everything from having gas around Secret Service agents, attending Beyonce concerts, and undermining IVF.
'She was so open so it really felt like you could talk about a lot of things. She's really down to earth, and I think she's so willing to give advice and sort of be open and welcome me into her world,' Phoebe said.

Stars seem to have a habit of being open with Phoebe, who released her second book, 'Everything's Trash, but It's Okay,' in October.
In fact, Reese Witherspoon has even been there to give her advice and pep talks about being starting her own production company.
'I've definitely emailed her and been like, "Hey girl, I need just a little bit of advice. You've done so much,"' she said.
'I'm starting this production company and she has Hello Sunshine so I was like, "Girl, I've never run a company before, I've never started a company from the ground up," so she just gave me some pointers on like how to go about it.
Reese advised her on hiring the right people and trusting her vision, and at the end of the day, to remember that she knows more than she thinks she does.
'She's like, just trust your instincts,' she said. 'She's always been so warm and she's very busy, so the fact that she'll take the time out and be like, "You got this, you know what to do" — it's really cool to have that, where she's all about helping each other.'

On her bucket list: Phoebe would still like to interview Whoopi Goldberg (left) and Kamala Harris (right)
Phoebe has sat down to chat with lots of stars since she rose to fame herself with her podcasts 2 Dope Queens and Sooo Many White Guys.
On bookshelves: Phoebe released her second book, 'Everything's Trash, but It's Okay,' last year
In addition to Reese and the former first lady, her recent interview subjects have included Adam Scott, Trevor Noah, Padma Lakshmi, Jameela Jamil, and Vanessa Bayer — but there are still quite a few people on her list.
'I would love to interview Whoopi Goldberg,' she said. 'That would be so fun. She's so smart and she really did so much for comedy in so many different ways. So I'd really love to sit down with her and say, "Tell me everything."'
When it comes to politics, a sit-down with presidential hopeful Kamala Harris would be at the top of her list.
'I would love to talk to Kamala Harris,' she said. 'I think she's really exciting and I think she has a lot of great ideas. So it would be really great to sit down with her and chat. But I'm really interested to see how this is all gonna shake out. Just sort of watching, observing.'
And though her podcast Sooo Many White Guys aims to spotlight everyone but white guys, she has made a few exceptions in the past — and would again in the future.
'Chris Hemsworth is super funny. He's cracking me up in the Avengers so I think it'd be really nice to talk to him,' she said. '[And] I think Bradley Cooper's cool. I like that he's directing now and that's really awesome. He's sort of expanding his brand.'
Oh, the technology! Phoebe is currently starring in a new campaign for Schick Intuition f.a.b., a razor that shaves in both directions
