Leonardo DiCaprio keeps a low profile in shorts and hoodie for a lunch date with pal Kevin Connelly

Leonardo DiCaprio has had decades-long friendships with a group of guys that were once dubbed the P**** Posse during their night-clubbing days in 1990s.

And on Wednesday, the Once Upon A Time In Hollywood actor got a chance to reminiscence about the group's twenty-something ways during a lunch date with Entourage star Kevin Connelly.

The pair both kept it casual as they enjoyed a meal at the upscale Italian restaurant E. Baldi in Beverly Hills.

DiCaprio, 44, was spotted walking to the restaurant dressed in grey shorts, a white t-shirt and white sneakers.

Hoping for some anonymity, he also donned dark sunglasses and a LA Dodgers baseball cap as he carried a grey hoodie.

Keeping with the sporty theme, Connelly, 45, also went with shorts and a t-shirt, along with a pair of sunglasses.

After lunch the two stars went on their separate ways.

The Titanic star didn't want any undo attention coming his way during the walk to his car, so he pulled his hoodie over his baseball cap.

He also kept the brim of the hat down to help cover his movie star face.

It’s not known if the two friends were meeting about a potential upcoming project, or they were just catching up on old times over a meal.

The pair have been close friends since the 1990s, around the time when Leonardo was dubbed - Leo, Prince Of The City - in New York Magazine. In the article, journalist Nancy Jo Sales used the phrase P**** Posse to describe the group's hard-partying ways with the ladies in New York, Miami and Los Angeles.

The crew also included actors Tobey Maguire, Lukas Haas, Ethan Suplee, Jay R. Ferguson, Spring Breakers director Harmony Korine and Magician David Blaine.

Roseanne star Sara Gilbert was known as an honorary member.

Connelly, who starred as Eric Murphy on the hit HBO series Entourage, has denied the group ever used the moniker to describe themselves in past interviews, which included Watch What Happen Live with Andy Cohen in 2016.
