The 29-year-old reality star and her 34-year-old country musician boyfriend showed off contrasting white and black outfits for the award show.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight at the CMTs, Chris revealed that Lauren had some specific instructions about how he should propose to her — or not propose.
'She's already warned me, if I ever propose, to never do it in an public setting,' he said.
'No, I just said... maybe not on stage,' Lauren interjected. 'Or a little more private than at a show.'
'I hope [Chris proposes],' she continued. 'At the end of the day, we're so happy. I'm not necessarily looking for that next step to change anything. It'll be an exciting time, for sure.'
Lauren mentioned in a March Instagram post that she was 'actually the worst when it comes to putting my feelings and emotions into words,' so it's not surprising that she wouldn't want to be involved in a public display like that.

'I mean, honestly maybe I could [propose with a corgi],' Chris joked. 'That's actually a great idea.'

The couple were also in Nashville when they first revealed their romance in November 2018 at the 66th Annual BMI Country Awards.
She was previously engaged to Ben Higgins of The Bachelor, who had proposed to her in 2016, though they had called it quits by May 2017.
When asked about the then-new relationship between Lauren and Chris, Ben told Entertainment Tonight that he wasn't aware they were dating, though they had been friends during his own courtship.
'I know she always admired him and thought he was a good dude,' he said.
