Kim Kardashian makes mom Kris Jenner cry after announcing she's taking the reins of the family Christmas Eve party
They reportedly spent a full $1.3million on the family's annual Christmas Eve party.
And while the Kardashian's holiday celebration is clearly a thing of magic, it appeared like planning process was much more fraught than it appeared.
Kim, 38, literally brought her mom Kris Jenner, 63, to tears after suggesting they change the location for the family holiday soiree in a teaser for the upcoming episode of KUWTK.

Mrs. Kardashian-West broached the subject while sitting down with her mom at the Hidden Hills home she shares with husband Kanye.
After Kris complained about how her daughters are 'a little tough on her' about the event, Kim explained how the brood had 'evolved' away from the simple family gathering.

'I just think the kids have evolved from having it just be your friends,' Kardashian admitted. 'It's kind of like, this older party.'
'There's literally people we don't know,' she continued flatly.

Just being honest: 'I just think the kids have evolved from having it just be your friends,' Kardashian admitted. 'It's kind of like, this older party'
Suggesting it was time for a changing of the guards, Kim told her mom: 'The time has come that maybe we switch the location and we have it here at our house.'
'I know Kanye loves to put things together, so if he knows that we're doing a Christmas Eve party, he'll have so many ideas. We just have a different vibe and a different energy. We all collectively, all the siblings, feel that way,' she explained.
Kim continued to explain her vision in a confessional video, telling the cameras: 'Our Christmas Eve party was always this fun party that I just remember being friends and family and my grandparents and cousins. It was just the best night ever...'
'We want it to be a place that we can just have fun and it’s all of our friends and definitely family and my mom’s friends, too. But a good mix of both so we can have a good time and really just enjoy each other.'

Kim scratched her head awkwardly as she confirmed the matriarch was in the minority.
'Well, that makes me sad,' Kris admitted, as she began to tear up.
'I want you to give us your blessing,' Kim says. 'I don't want to just steal it from you.'
And though it made her emotional, Kris welcomed the change, saying: 'No, I want you guys to be able to do this until you're my age and one of your kids takes over — that's the joy.'
