The mother-of-two, pictured, said: ‘I just want to feel empowered and good about myself.
'I love exercising, but after two kids I kept getting injured because I just did not have a core. My midsection was like a fish tank.’
The star suffered a condition called diastasis recti – the separation of abdominal muscles – during pregnancy with daughters Olive, six, and Frankie, five.
Miss Barrymore, who compared the ‘game-changer’ treatment to doing ‘20,000 crunches in 30 minutes’, admitted she had ‘let herself go’ after her split from actor Will Kopelman in 2016.
