Jennifer Aniston reveals which celebrity texted her when she was fearing for her life during emergency landing on flight to Mexico

Four months ago Jennifer Aniston was on a dangerous flight with her friends as they flew from Los Angeles to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

And when Ellen DeGeneres got wind of the bumpy flight, she texted the 50-year-old beauty right away, it was revealed during Aniston's visit to The Ellen Show this week.

'You're the first person that was like, "Are You OK?" - And I was like, "Ellen, I do have someone that loves me!" You were very concerned,' said the Murder Mystery star.

The actress who played Rachel Green on NBC's Friends was headed to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico with friends for a birthday trip.

Along with her was Courteney Cox and Jimmy Kimmel's wife Molly, along others.

But then the crew had to reroute the flight back to California for an emergency landing after a rear tire blew out.

Ellen recalled, 'I hear from someone, "Jen's plane is in trouble, they had an emergency landing," so I texted you right away,' Ellen recalled.

Aniston noted that she has a fear of flying, while her friends do not.

The Office Christmas Party star explained, 'What happened was, we were in flight, it was very turbulent ... and it's really bumpy and its sort of on a tilt, so it's about an hour and a half of white-knuckling it.'

Aniston said the crew informed the passengers of the immediate situation - to which everyone on the plane started panicking, crying and texting partners, children and loved ones - but she remained calm and composed.

'I was like, "Who do I text?" Bing! ... You're the first person that was like, "Are You OK?' - And I was like "Ellen, I do have someone that loves me!" You were very concerned.'

Aniston said she remained calm and composed amid a six-hour effort to dump the fuel in the plane, lest risk a dangerous explosion upon landing.

Jen said, 'It just shows you how irrational fear of flying is: When there's things that really you shouldn't be afraid of, and and when there's actually something you should be afraid of, you're not.'

During her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live last week, Aniston also told a story about how her plane lost a wheel during take-off causing everyone on board, including Cox, to panic.

Aniston’s friends chartered a flight to Mexico. But during taxi, passengers on board the aircraft heard a loud 'explosion, which sounded like a pothole if it was a car big enough to go over the Grand Canyon,' according to Aniston.

About two hours into their flight, pilots turned the aircraft around and headed back to California.

One of the people on board the aircraft was Kimmel’s wife, Molly McNearney. When she texted her husband the news, he responded, 'I just signed up for Tinder but I PROMISE not to activate it until we know what's what.'

'I was trying to lighten the mood,' Kimmel explained on his show.

During the same interview she said she isn't closing the door on a Friends reunion. 'Why not? You know what, because, listen, I told you this. I would do it,' the A-lister.

The actress said her co-stars on the NBC series - including Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer - would likely be game for a revival of the successful sitcom.

'The girls would do it. And the boys would do it, I'm sure,' said Aniston, who appears alongside Adam Sandler in the upcoming Netflix movie Murder Mystery. 'Listen - anything could happen.'

Aniston last summer told her friend Molly McNearney in In Style that she fantasizes about a reunion of the cast on the show, which ended its run in 2004 after 10 years in prime-time.

''Courteney and Lisa and I talk about it ... I fantasize about it,' Aniston said. 'It really was the greatest job I ever had. I don't know what it would look like today, but you never know.'

Aniston said that 'so many shows are being successfully rebooted,' and that before Friends was even over, 'People were asking if we were coming back.'

Aniston's pal and co-star Cox told People last fall she was skeptical of a comeback based on the premise of the show and the ages of the character.

'People ask us all the time, "Will we ever do a remake?" That was a story about these group of people that are friends in their 30s who are finding themselves,' she said. 'I don’t know if there’s a way to redo it.

'I just don’t see it happening. Even though I would do anything to be in a room with all of those people acting and having a great time. But I don’t see it happening.'

Elsewhere in the Ellen appearance Wednesday, Jen spoke about her upcoming layout in the June/July issue of Harper's Bazaar, making clear she has no hangups about the human body.

'Now, you enjoy being naked,' Ellen asked Jen, who said without hesitation, 'I love it!'

Ellen noted that the style icon has always kept active and fit in maintaining her figure, to which Aniston replied, 'I love activities, yeah.'

In one shot, a topless Jen covers her breasts with her arms; Ellen asked Aniston if she was ashamed about the steamy spread.

'I'm not ashamed of that, no - no one should be!' Jen said to applause from the studio audience. Ellen joked to her, 'Do it now!'

In another shot, Jen is pictured in her bikini relaxing on a chair in the Pacific Ocean.

'You know how you just lounge in a chair in the ocean,' the Horrible Bosses actress joked of the glamorous photo spread. 'You know how you just sort of do that.'

Aniston appears in the upcoming Murder Mystery on Netflix, which debuts June 12.
