Kelly Ripa 'finally' gets approval to share two prom photos of 17-year-old daughter Lola Consuelos to Instagram
She's definitely not a fan of her mother's openness on social media.
So it took some time for Kelly Ripa to get approval from her 17-year-old daughter Lola Consuelos to post her prom pictures to Instagram on Thursday.
'It only took 20 hours, but we finally got two approved prom photos,' the 48-year-old TV personality began the photo's caption.

The pictures showed Lola, the teenage daughter Kelly shares with Riverdale actor Mark Consuelos, wearing a gorgeous, floor-skimming jade dress.
Her brunette tresses fell in luxurious waves down her back.

In one photo, the high school student placed a flower in the buttonhole of her date, Tarek Fahmy's, tuxedo.
Another 'approved' snap showed Lola posing with her Live With Kelly and Ryan host mom in the family's home.
The photo's caption continued: '#prom 2019 [TWO HEART EMOJIS] love you tar3kfahmy and @theyoungestyung'.

Ripa continued to post several more photos of the night to her Instagram stories, though no word on whether she received her daughter's blessing to post the snaps.
It's not the first time Ripa has run into to trouble with her only daughter on social media.
Kelly has notoriously feuded with her daughter over images the TV star shares on her Instagram account, having told Jimmy Fallon in 2017 that she's 'never allowed to post a photo of her—ever,' according to E! News.
The slight spat was sparked after Ripa shared a throwback photo of Lola which subsequently caused a commotion.
'I was like, 'You know what? She can't get mad at an eight-year-old photo. It's a Halloween throwback Thursday,'' she recalled. 'I'm in the elevator coming up here and the phone rings and it says 'Lola.' I was debating [answering]. I was like, 'Maybe I shouldn't answer it...but what if it's an emergency?''

Since the war of words, Kelly promised her daughter she would only post approved photos by her teenager.
'Wishing you a LIT holiday season! With love from the Consuelos gang. (and yes, Lola approved),' she wrote on one post of her family.

Ripa and Consuelos first met on the set of the soap opera All My Children in 1995, where they played love interests on screen and ultimately fell for each other.
They eloped in a secret ceremony in Las Vegas in 1996, with their first child, Michael Joseph, born a year later in 1997.
Lola is the middle child, with Joaquin Antonio their youngest child - he turned 16 years old in February.
