Wisconsin man is arrested after 'beating a two-month-old baby boy to death while he was in his mother's arms'

A two-month-old baby boy was allegedly beaten to death in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Wednesday while his mother was holding him in her arms.
Milwaukee Police say baby Jaquerrion Dancer was pronounced dead at the hospital around 9pm that night.
The baby's unnamed mother was too distraught to talk on camera with reporters outside her home, according to WISN.
Police say they were called to the victim's dwelling just before 8am in response to an alleged domestic dispute.

The victim's mother told officers that a male suspect started hitting her and Jaquerrion that morning while she was holding the infant in her arms.
Rev. Dan Quakkelaar, who is providing grief counseling to Jaquerrion's mother, said the baby was born premature and had been fighting hard to live from the day he was born.
His mother provided reporters with a picture of her child.
'You can tell from the picture that he was a beautiful boy and full of life,' Quakkelaar said. 'It's hard to deal with when a life like that is lost so tragically and so unnecessarily.'
Milwaukee Police Assistant Chief Steve Caballero confirmed a male suspect has been taken into custody, but would not confirm whether or not the man is Jaquerrion's father.

Police also have yet to provide a motive from the crime.
Jessica's neighbors expressed shock and grief over her baby's loss.
'It's a sad thing that kids have to go like that,' neighbor George Bailey told Fox 6 Now. 'I can't even imagine, to think about something like that happen[ing] to my baby.'
Local parishioners have created a GoFundMe page for Jaquerrion's mother to help her pay for the baby's funeral expenses.
'All excess funds will go directly to Jessica, the mother,' the page reads. 'Please mourn with us and give what you can to help this grieving mother.'
