He became an MP in 2005 and entered government as education secretary in 2010. Mr Gove, 51, insisted his past mistakes should not be held against him as he battles to replace Theresa May as prime minister. 'It was 20 years ago and yes, it was a mistake,' he said. He made his admission ahead of publication of a book about him by political journalist Owen Bennett - extracts of which are exclusively published in today's Mail. Private pictures of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding are leaked on Instagram and

Snaps taken by aristocrat Alexi Lubomirski (left), 43, have started to appear on sites including Instagram and Twitter, following their wedding at Windsor Castle in May last year. The incident has caused quite a stir at Kensington Palace, with officials reportedly launching an immediate probe to shut down the wedding pictures leak. Private black and white pictures tagged 'preview' are among those believed to have started appearing on social media in the last few days. Mr Lubomirski, 43, a fashion and celebrity photographer who lives in New York, was alerted after hundreds of his images were stolen by hackers - some of which included those of Harry and Meghan on their wedding day. Mr Lubomirski also took the couple's engagement photographs in December 2017. Only three official wedding photographs were released to the public (right and inset).

Relatives of woman who screamed at Trump supporter say they can't understand what happened

Nine times she accused him of being 'Nazi scum' before screaming the single word 'Nazi' when she was barely inches from his nose at the London protest. Labour MP Rupa Huq accused of anti-Semitism by former employee

Rupa Huq, 47 (left), has been the Labour MP for Ealing Central and Acton since 2015 and faces accusations from two former staffers who worked at her Westminster office until this year. One complainant alleged that Ms Huq questioned why he had a badge showing the Star of David on his satchel. He claimed that she asked: 'Why do you have the flag of Israel on your bag?' The former staffer added that he corrected the mistake, explaining it wasn't the flag of Israel, but Ms Huq continued to ask the question throughout the day. It is latest anti-semitism allegation to rock the party (leader Jeremy Corbyn right), after Lisa Forbes won the Peterbrough by-election despite 'liking' social media posts about 'Zionist Slave Masters'.

Listeria deaths: Three hospital patients die after outbreak linked to sandwiches

This business and North Country Quality Foods, which they distribute through, have also voluntarily ceased production.

Boris Johnson WINS bid to quash prosecution over Brexit bus 'lies'

Boris Johnson today won a High Court challenge against a court summons over claims he made during the referendum campaign (right) that the EU receives £350million a week from the UK. The former foreign secretary's legal team challenged the summons for him to attend Westminster Magistrates' Court as they blocked a controversial private prosecution by campaigner Marcus Ball (left, pictured today). Mr Ball, a Remainer, had been trying to prosecute the Tory MP for three allegations of misconduct in a public office. But the Conservative leadership hopeful (centre, also pictured today, leaving his girlfriend Carrie Symonds's home in London) will now not face court after two High Court judges took barely five minutes to quash the case. Mr Johnson's lawyers said District Judge Margot Coleman 'erred in law' when she issued the summons and argued the attempt to prosecute the Tory MP was the culmination of a 'politically-driven process'. Home Secretary Sajid Javid wrote on Twitter: 'Very glad to see the court case against Boris Johnson thrown out. Freedom of speech feels increasingly challenged - we should always seek to debate political arguments in the open rather than close them down.'

However, a witness who spoke to Mail Online said that Robinson threw a 'sucker-punch' after somebody in the crowd pointed the man out, saying 'that's him'.

Farage delivers his Brexit plan to No10 moments after May leaves

Theresa May was driven away from No10 looking relieved to be out of the pressure cooker, as the Tories digested a dismal third place showing in the Peterborough by-election overnight. Almost immediately afterwards, Mr Farage turned up at the famous black door to deliver a copy of his blueprint for a 'clean break' from the EU. Although his fledgling Brexit Party narrowly failed to win in Peterborough, they took a huge chunk out of the Conservatives' support - and Mr Farage has vowed to do the same at a general election unless the government fulfils the verdict from the 2016 referendum.

Peterborough by-election: Labour wins after Tories and Brexit Party split vote

In a result that will cause panic at Tory HQ, Lisa Forbes sneaked home in the Peterborough by-election despite recording the lowest winning vote share in modern history - as Nigel Farage's Brexit Party and the Conservatives split their support. A clearly jubilant Jeremy Corbyn (pictured left and inset with Ms Forbes) boasted that Labour could score a general election victory while the two rival right-wing parties are squabbling. 'We are ready for a general election whenever it comes and you know what - we're going to win it,' he declared. A bitter blame game immediately erupted between Mr Farage and Tory leadership favourite Boris Johnson, who claimed that Brexit Party votes risked 'delivering Corbyn to No 10'. Mr Johnson also reiterated his vow to take the UK out of the EU by October 31 at all costs.

The former Foreign Secretary, who is favourite to win the race, is the most likely candidate to win back Tory supporters who deserted the party under Mrs May's leadership, today's survey found.

Mr Javid blasted Mr Johnson for saying women in burkas look like letterboxes, and called Raab's plan to suspend Parliament plan to force through No Deal 'complete nonsense'.

Shadow Transport Secretary Andy McDonald said the UK should vote again on leaving the EU if the country is 'looking down the barrel' of No Deal.

In Peterborough, the Brexit Party and Tories effectively split the same group of right-leaning voters, allowing Labour to slip through the middle and win with relatively little support.

Lisa Forbes sneaked home ahead of Nigel Farage 's Brexit Party days after Jewish groups had called for her deselection as a candidate.

Despite only registering four months ago the Brexit Party is on 26 per cent. Labour and the resurgent Lib Dems trail them on 20 per cent each and the Tories are currently fourth on 18 per cent.

'We are not scared to be visibly queer': Defiant American woman who was left with a broken jaw after she and her girlfriend were punched and robbed on London bus for refusing to kiss each other for their attackers' entertainment speaks out

Melania Geymonat (with dark hair), 28, was riding the bus with her American girlfriend Chris (main left) after an evening out in West Hampstead, North West London, in the early hours of May 30. But during the journey, she claimed a gang of young men behind them saw they were a couple and started to demand they kiss while making crude sexual gestures. She said: 'They wanted us to kiss so they could watch us. I tried to defuse the situation as I'm not a confrontational person, telling them to please leave us alone as Chris wasn't feeling well.' The men, who were in their 20s or 30s, began throwing things on the bus - which was travelling towards Camden - and the couple told them to stop. 'The next thing I remember was Chris in the middle of them and they were beating her,' added Ms Geymonat, who is originally from Uruguay but now lives in Essex, just outside London.
