Ben Affleck was seen in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles on Friday spending some quality time with his mother Christine Anne Boldt.
Two of his children, Seraphina, 10, and Samuel, 7, followed close behind with school supplies in tow.
The screen superstar, 46, kept a straight face as he traveled by foot in a boxy grey coat, plaid blue shirt and pewter-toned pants to match.

As summer vacation is on the horizon, Affleck will have even more quality time to spend with his three children and ex-wife Jennifer Garner, 46.
Though the two finalized their divorce last year not long after he finished his most recent stay in rehab for 40 days, they still reconvene for their little ones on a regular basis.
The former couple was all smiles back in April at a church gathering, and they were the epitome of co-parenting goals when they supported their tiny tots at a soccer game last month.

It may all seem like sunshine and roses, but Affleck insists that his happy place hasn't been reached without a ton of extra work.
'Being an alcoholic, it’s part of my life, it’s something that I deal with,' he said in interview with Today, as reported by People.
'It doesn’t have to subsume my whole identity and be everything, but it is something that you have to work at.'
He's also been candid about critical role Garner has played in his life.
'When somebody is the mother of your kids, they’re gonna be the most important, central person in your life, and that’s good,' he explained.
