The Strictly star also discussed Michael Barrymore on Piers Morgan's Life Stories, which is due to this weekend.

Oti was especially excited for her upcoming appearance on Celebrity Gogglebox with her sisters Motsi and Phemelo, where she will appear alongside a host of stars.

She will appear on the Channel 4 show alongside Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw, TV host Rylan Clark-Neal, the Little Mix ladies and broadcaster and former Tory MP Gyles Brandreth.

Emilia Fox and Laurence Fox will also grace the show as well as boxers Chris Eubank Sr and Chris Eubank Jr.

It comes after Oti said she would rather dance than take the place of Dame Darcey Bussell on the Strictly Come Dancing judging panel.

Darcey announced she will not return for the next series of Strictly earlier this year, sparking speculation as to who will replace her.

'I love being a dancer and I enjoy creating and choreographing and I think I love that part more,' Oti told HELLO! magazine.

'Strictly is the biggest show on television so it's a big deal for anyone who gets it. They need to know what they are doing.'

Oti described Dame Darcey as 'an incredible dancer' and a special influence on the show.

'What she brought to Strictly was so special. Her replacement has to be completely different from what we have had, but someone who has the nurturing nature of Darcey.'
