Gwyneth Paltrow's husband, Brad Falchuk, has put his Los Angeles bachlelor pad on sale for $10 million. 

The Emmy-winning television producer, 48, has listed the sprawling home, situated in the plush neighbourhood of Brentwood, five years after purchasing the property for $5.6 million, meaning he looks set for a substantial pay-day if he receives asking price.

The Glee creator's 1920s style home features 4,190 square feet of living space, four bedrooms and four bathrooms, and affords complete privacy thanks to its hillside location.

Once owned by American pin-up girl and actress Betty Grable in the 1930s, the single-storey home is painted in a sleek and stylish grey with a tiled roof and wooden panelling adorned with white roses.

Inside the home is a light and airy living room with plush white sofas and antique furniture - and large French doors open into a porch with outdoor seating.

Wooden flooring and furniture make up the kitchen which is decked out in bright white tiling, with a cosy enclove and pantry kitted out with modern appliances.

The study is a bachelor's heaven, with rustic leather armchairs, a turquoise jewelled rug and antique furniture including a telescope, a marble figurine and bespoke bookshelves.

The bathroom has a classic mix of old and new, with a free-standing bathtub and ornate sinks, coupled with a walk-in shower room and a stylish Chesterfield sofa. 

Brad originally bought the pad just over five years ago for $5.6million from Spider-Man franchise filmmaker Sam Raimi.

Despite tying the knot almost one year ago, Gwyneth caused a stir when she recently revealed the couple still don't live together full time.  

The actress admitted she and the TV writer don't live together yet because they are trying to navigate their blended family and be respectful of their children.

The GOOP founder has daughter Apple, 15, and son Moses, 13, with Coldplay frontman ex-husband Chris Martin, 42, while Brad has son Brody and daughter Isabella with ex-wife Suzanne Bukinik.

Speaking in a cover interview with the new issue of WSJ magazine in December, Gwyneth explained: 'I’ve never been a stepmother before. I don’t know how to do it. 

'We are still doing it in our own way. With teenage kids, you’ve got to tread lightly. It’s pretty intense, the teenage thing.'
