Sophie Turner jokes about kissing Maisie Williams: 'Sometimes you just wanna make out with your best friend'
Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams would jokingly 'try and kiss each other in the middle of the scene' while filming Game Of Thrones.
Appearing on Conan this week, Sophie, 23, explained that the jest was a response to rumors that she and Maisie were an item.
The blonde bombshell, who plays sisters with Maisie on the show, quipped: 'Yeah, you know, sometimes you just wanna make out with your best friend.'

She told host Conan O'Brian of the romance conjecture with Maisie: 'We fully knew about it. We played into it. We did.'
Sophie shared: 'So on the set, we would kind of do the scene, then try and kiss each other in the middle of the scene and see if anyone would react.'

The English rose added that 'it's Game Of Thrones, so incest is so normal that they were like: "All right, that's fine."'
Game Of Thrones is famous for the star-crossed affair between twins Jaime and Cersei Lannister, played by Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Lena Headey respectively.

Sophie recently sat down with her Dark Phoenix co-star Jessica Chastain for a Vogue Paris YouTube feature in which she dished her friendship with Maisie.
'My best friend Maisie, she and I have a very intense friendship, a friendship that I haven't had with any of my other girlfriends before,' said Sophie.
'We felt like we wanted to write a movie about a friendship where it's kind of like you're soulmates, but you're friends and it's like this beautiful connection but it can also be quite destructive,' shared the Northampton native.
