Zoe Kravitz rocks a short pleated skirt while filming Hulu's High Fidelity in New York City
Just a day after the Big Little Lies Season 2 premiere, Zoe Kravitz was hard at work on the set of her next series, Hulu's High Fidelity.
The 30-year-old actress was in high spirits while hanging out near a New York City brownstone on the set Monday afternoon.
While the actress didn't star in the 2000 film adaptation of Nick Hornby's 1995 book, she does have a unique connection to the material.

Kravitz was spotted wearing a black short-sleeved Dickies t-shirt, and a blue-green pleated skirt on the New York City set.
The Big Little Lies star as also wearing a set of low-top black Zumiez sneakers with gold earrings during her time on the set.

Kravitz will portray a female version of John Cusack's character Rob Gordon, a record store owner and pop culture aficionado obsessed with making Top Five lists.
Ironically, in the original movie, the love interest of Rob Gordon, Marie De Salle, was portrayed by Lisa Bonet, Kravitz's mother.
Deadline reported in September 2018 that the Disney+ streaming service issued a 10-episode order for the series, with the pilot written by Veronica West & Sarah Kucserka.

Disney later moved the series from Disney+ to Hulu in April 2019, with Jake Lacy joining the cast as Clyde, described as 'effortlessly cute, if not the coolest guy in the room.'
The cast also includes Da'Vine Joy Randolph as Cherise, described as 'boisterous, likable, funny with an infectious energy - and thinks she knows everything, and David Holmes as Simon, said to be, 'sarcastic and cranky with an attractive quirkiness.'
Also starring in High Fidelity is Kingsley Ben-Adir as Russell "Mac" McCormack, said to be 'charming, worldly, intelligent - though not at all pretentious,' who was also and was Rob's most serious boyfriend.

The film from writer-director Gerardo Naranjo follows a roadie who travels across North America with a punk band.
The cast also includes Evan Rachel Wood, Dakota Fanning, Jon Bernthal and Caleb Landry Jones, though no release date has been given.
