Prince Harry only has one request when he travels, according to his fellow polo player Nacho Figueras.

The model, 42, who has been nicknamed the 'David Beckham of polo' and is often pictured playing alongside Harry, 34, revealed that the Duke of Sussex is passionate about cutting back on the use of plastic in hotels.

Nacho also described Harry, who recently welcomed baby Archie with wife Meghan, as a kind soul and admitted that the pair are passionate about helping children.

Speaking to CBS, Nacho said of Harry: 'He talked to a person [who worked at the hotel] and said, 'This morning I got my coffee and I saw that you have a plastic thing on the coffee. And then I also sent my shirt and I got my shirt in a big plastic bag.''

According to the player, he then pleaded with the hotel to stop using as much plastic.

And speaking about the stream of speculation about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Nacho continued: 'The headlines and the narrative is about them, you know, not getting along with so and so or not doing this or not doing that, is the baby sleeping or not sleeping.'

He questioned: 'How about this guy, both of them, wake up every morning and all they think about is helping children.' 

Harry and Meghan are ambassadors for  various charities and have been passionate about raising awareness for the causes close to their hearts, which include education for girls.

On Saturday new mother the Duchess of Sussex made her first public appearance since giving birth.

The Queen’s milestone was marked with the Trooping the Colour ceremony that saw some of Britain’s most prestigious regiments stage the centuries-old spectacle.

And among the royals was Meghan, attending her first official royal engagement since giving birth to son Archie just over four weeks ago.

The duchess has been on maternity leave caring for her baby born at a private London hospital on May 6, and Harry has already spoken about how parenthood has changed their lives, saying he cannot imagine life without his son. 

The Queen arrived in a procession full of pomp and pageantry featuring a Sovereign’s Escort from the Household Cavalry, made up of Life Guards and Blues and Royals, in their silver and gold breastplates and plumed helmets.

 Trooping the Colour is social as well as a ceremonial occasion and in the stands overlooking the parade ground were the wives, girlfriends and parents of the guardsmen and officers on parade.
