Meghan King Edmonds penned a heartbreaking and raw response to her husband Jim's 'disgusting' affair, revealing she no longer trusts him and feels 'abandoned' and 'lonely'.

The former Real Housewives of Orange County star, 34, took to her blog on Friday to address the state of her marriage after claims the 48-year-old sent snaps of his manhood and an explicit video to another woman while his third wife was welcoming their twins.

Meghan said the bombshell news comes at an already difficult time, revealing for the first time that the couple are worried one of their 12-month-old twin boys, Hart, may have a neurological disorder.

She wrote: 'All of this could not have come at a worse time. [Something] I wasn’t ready to share but here I am sharing it: we are worried our son, Hart, might have a neurological disorder. It’s been the most trying last couple months of my entire life and we still don’t have answers.

'Now I have this to deal with: my one true love betraying me in the most disgusting and public way possible.

'I am a victim, but I am not defined by this,' she wrote. 'I need space to heal. Ultimately, I have hope our marriage can recover.'

Jim admitted on Thursday to a 'lapse in judgement' after the allegations were reported by AllAboutTheTEA  but denied a physical affair.

Addressing his denial, she wrote: 'Do I believe him? I don’t know. Because I don’t trust him anymore. Physical or not, he still had an affair and he admits this to me.'

Meghan revealed that she found out about the news and 'called Jimmy' to see if the allegations were true.

'He confessed to me that he had exchanged lewd photos with this woman over the course of several months and a physical relationship never existed,' she wrote. 'He paid her off to protect me so I’d never find out.'

AllAboutTheTEA  posted screengrabs from the ballplayer's texts which included shots of his genitals; a source also reported there was 'a video of himself masturbating in his basement while his wife was laid up in the hospital' after 'she had just given birth that day.'

Edmonds reportedly worked out a non-disclosure agreement with the woman to keep mum about the affair.

'I’m a simple girl,' Meghan continued on her blog post - the first in nearly two months. 'I wanted a solid marriage. I’m as loyal as they come and I wanted the vows we made when we exchanged our rings to be acted upon. Now my wedding ring symbolizes fraud. I refuse to be humiliated by this.'

She went on to say that 'marriage is hard' but a 'relationship takes two people' and cheating is only one person's decision.

'I did nothing wrong, I don’t deserve this,' she wrote. 'I did nothing except be pregnant with our twins and try to have a healthy pregnancy. So what is so broken in him to propel him to do this to me? To us? It wasn’t one mistake, one lapse in judgement. I saw the texts – each one represents his decision to throw our marriage in the trash.

'Why did he self-sabotage? And who sends nudies? Doesn’t everyone know better than this in 2019? What drives someone to self-destruct in such a way?'

The former baseball All-Star conceded to US that he'd had 'inappropriate' contact with a woman outside of his marriage, but stressed that it never progressed to a physical level.

'Regrettably, I had a lapse in judgment,' Jim, whose best years came for the Los Angeles Angels and St. Louis Cardinals baseball clubs, told the magazine in a statement. 'I engaged in an inappropriate conversation with this person.'

He continued: 'At no time was there any type of relationship or physical contact. Absolutely none. This is someone trying to profit from my name. I am aware she has done this to others in the past.'

He tied the knot with Meghan in October 2014, prior to joining The Real Housewives of Orange County's 10th season the following year. (Jim and Meghan left the show two years ago after the 12th season.)

During their time on the program, Jim was notably absent through much of Meghan's journey with in vitro fertilization to conceive their first daughter together, Aspen.

Meghan struggled with self injections and even brought her mother to doctor's appointments while Jim worked out of state with various baseball responsibilities.

'I was really disappointed in Jimmy’s lack of sentiment throughout my IVF process,' she wrote in a Bravo blog. 'And honestly, there were moments I was questioning if getting pregnant was even the right choice.

'Now that I am pregnant he is so happy and excited for our baby girl to come, but at the same time I still think he’s removed.'

The pair have since welcomed three kids together and their twin sons, Hayes and Hart, celebrated their first birthday on June 5.

Edmonds is also father to daughters Lauren, Hayley, and Sutton, and son Landon from his past marriages to his first wife, the late Lee Ann Horton, and his second wife, Allison Jayne Raski.

He offered, in his statement, a detailed apology to his spouse amid the scandal: 'Clearly, I made a very poor decision to expose myself and my family to this type of person. For this, I am truly sorry and sought forgiveness from my wife ... we were never having any problems in our marriage.'

Edmonds, who has been a broadcaster for the Cardinals in recent years, said he was 'outraged' over the woman's intent to 'ruin [his] family.'

He's intending on taking 'legal action' against the woman, who he says has 'admitted fabricating large portions' of her account of their relationship in legal docs.

In 2018, Meghan blogged that she and Jim were on a kid-less vacation because their 'marriage needs it.'

'We need shining and buffing,' she wrote. 'We need US back … and the sad part is that we never even realized ‘we’ were missing.'

She added that the couple had 'become complacent in our lives and have taken each other for granted' with 'three babies in under two years.'

Meghan's blog had not been updated since April, and she previously plugged a line of candles while cast on RHOC.
